I admit that Sassanid law belonged to 1400 years ago. Are you saying that Sharia no longer applies? If so I agree; it does belong to the middle ages. In these times we have civil law. All people are equal under the law. People must be allowed to chose their own religion. Leaving any religion including Islam is a human right.
It is a matter of fairness. All must be treated equally under law. Sharia treats Muslims better than non-Muslims. This is a fact. Same tax for everyone; same law for everyone.
