hey you say you have a 8 in rusty off road long arm where did you dind it i have a 1993 cherokee 4 door i want to put one on but the biggest longarm i can find from rusty off road is a 6.5 in and wheree did you find your prefilter for the top or your homemade snorkel i just made one out of 2 in pvc and need a prefilter so i dont get mudd in the thing that would defeat the purpose of haveing on

Ive been looking for a 2-door 5speed, so i can swap the 6' rubicon-xpress, pro-comp 33's,megasquirt II, and the turbo kit I made off my beat up 4-door onto a nice 2-door.

And I want a 5-speed because I want to throw the turbo & megasquirt on it,because I noticed my current xj' with the auto is wasting alot of the power.

@danusthejeepman Its fairly easy to swap in a 4.0 As long as you have some mechanical skill, basic tools. I did it with a comanche i had. Just get a whole xj, maybe one that was in a wreck, or one that is rotted out. Then just park them next to each-other and start pulling them apart. Just make sure not to mix the parts up.

@americanmonster1 you can build a very well built and capable cherokee for half the price of an xj. from 89 -01 you are garunteed a 4.0,wrangler no, cherokee more than likely come equipped with a chrysler 8.25,wranglers no,. i guess its cool to run soft doors. and there are many different types of wranglers also. cj,yj,tj,jk,lj. so just from you calling it a wrangler over and over, makes me believe your knowledge on jeeps is very limited. ya friggen funny little butt monkey:)

@cotequadsport ok heres the thing, it dosent matter what wrangler were talkin about, wether its the little 4- banger or the beast 4.0 they all can set up in different ways to make them perform better than the cherokee granted the cherokee comes better stock than alot of wranglers, but neither are any good of road without major adjustments, the wrnagler is tougher and built better end of story you fucking cocksucker :)

37 inch boggers are big but not the tallest 37 around and you got the same lift i had running 44 tsl boggers on the 95 zj i sold in 05 ...got a wj now and it will get 40'sd with tops 7 inches of lift ...so i guess you're right you need that much lift for small 37's...lol

What size lift you running? I just threw bushwackers on my Cherokee and i have a 5 inch lift. I am running 32"s at the moment but idk what size to go up too. im pretty sure i can fit 35"s but i know my dana 35 can handle them. What axles you running? haha

@Sammoments rusty's 8" long arm with 2" spacers up front, TnT u-bolt eliminators in the rear, which ad 1.75" so roughly 10" lift.

Dana 44's front and rear, trussed, hydro steer, locked with chromoly shafts up front, ctm u-joints.

Sammoments; with a 6.5" life you could fit 35" tires but you'll prob want to trim as much sheet metal as possible so you don't rub while flexing out your suspension. Also check how mush travel upwards you have, you may need longer bump stops. Keep in mind the higher you lift the shorter your brake lines are, cycle the suspension and see if you max out the lines.
