man i don't see what's the big problem here, i can't run Mercenaries 2 smoothly. i have a 8600GT (not the Fatal1ty) 512mb GDDR3, 2GB RAM DDR2 667Mhz just like you and a better CPU, Core 2 Duo E8600 (3.33Ghz. with 6mb L3 cache) but f*ck the game is terribly slow :|

I didnt really get the same experience on the PC. I cant stand the fucked up controls. Its just a really really bad port and it just cant compete with the other great titles for the PC :).

I wouldn't do that if I were you... the 8600gt is fine, but not to run Crysis or Crysis Warhead. Try getting at least a 9600gt.

I believe you can... but this game is pretty laggy, even though graphics are pretty lame compared to recent games(Textures looks like a PS2 game, only with bump mapping).
