  • Maybe this is still relevant today because things really aren't so different.

  • Joanna Newsom is the Dylan of our generation.

  • I bow to the greatness that IS Dylan.

  • just bought the album Bringing it all back home

  • Bob Dylan rejects the notion he is the voice of a generation. That is stupid. He is a human being, he represents us all

  • It's an awesome song, with awesome lyrics, maybe the best ever. I just enjoyed the faster version, and I feel like that version gave way more power to the song. This version just seems to slow down the genius of the whole presentation. Nothing against it though, just my two pennies on the situation.

  • Nice !

  • I understand just fine, bob. thanks for trying to jedi my mind from seeing the twisted truth though.

  • He still a born-again Christian last year when I saw him in concert when they announce him it says he was saved from drugs by JESUS in the 1970's He'd be dead from an over-dose by now if he wasn't. He just goes to the synagogue sometimes because it's his cultural backround.

  • he is not the sound of a generation . . he is the sound of . . eternity . .come off it.

  • WOW I wish this whole song was in EASY RIDER.

  • For Peter Fonda,Zon Marie and John Peter Provost. PF's Mother commited suicide. ZMP and JPP's Father killed himself.

  • It's about the men that control the world, who think they could never die, who use the small people for their own gains. It is the most dynamic poetry you could ever read. Search for the lyrics and read every one while the song plays.

  • does anybody even know what this song is about??

  • It's alright ma, I can make it.

  • the greatest poet of generations

  • AMAZING!

  • whats the 2nd song that hes playing?

  • Hummm... How did this get two dislikes?

  • @letmeplaymystrat a couple of Justin Beiber fans went to the wrong page.

  • @patrickjchesebrough You're probably right.

  • This song is like unleashing the power of a bottomless pit

  • Comment removed

  • How does he remember all that words when he's so baked?

  • @mattysparks shake and bake....hahahahahahahaha

  • Upstanding!

  • Why is he soo cool C'8 lol tears of joy and tears of sorrow at the tought of my generation having crappy music /8 I hate the present I forget the past and look engaged to the future

  • GOOSEBUMPS. it blows my mind that someone could just sit down one day and write this, and in only 15 MINUTES! wow.. i couldnt write something this incredible in 40 years, if i could at all. Bob is a gift to this planet

  • this song is as long as a ramones album

  • The beggining almost sounds like rap

  • Whats the song he's about to start at the end of "It's alright ma I'm only bleeding"?

  • @ledamianded 'I don't believe you (She acts like we never have met)

  • Masterpiece

  • eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • its life and life only

  • @LuciidDreaming its more than life. its our lunchbox

  • it's pretty good, no Lip Bizkit tho

  • @MonteProvince Conor Oberst is actually pretty close....

  • @Zickestzam

    got any more jokes?

  • @4l4ddin77 why? your opinion already seems to be a good joke itself..

  • @Zickestzam

my opinion that conor obersts songwriting is nowhere close to bob dylans? whats so funny about that?

  • @MonteProvince Tone down the hero-worship a smidge. I think he's a great poet but there have been many others in history, some ruffled collared Avonian gent comes to mind. If you're point is there's no one exactly like him, well duh. You and others can enjoy the music without making grandiose statements you know!

  • @RandomConcepts But his lyrics are far more Advanced and superior then they could ever be in todays songs

  • There IS no bad Bob Dylan - wake up, dude, this is the sound of a generation; one of the most amazing lyricists we have ever been graced with. Here is music written more than forty years ago that states exactly what we are dealing with today; how prescient is that?

  • @icmajik Shot of Love kind of sucked

  • @RandomConcepts i think its amazing and i think your listless and dull

  • @HongKongSwagga dude just learn to appretiacte the rythm

  • @HongKongSwagga Its more in the lyrics and idea's expressed if anything.

  • he was sooo high

  • thank you so much for posting this, great lyrics.

  • "darkness at the break of noon shadow even the silver spoon the hand made blade the child balloon eclipses both the sun and moon to understand you know too soon theres no sense in trying" story of my life

  • whats the second song called?

  • I was born in 1964 and bob dylan has been my folk singer in a time looking back 45 odd years ago the 60's was a time people looked at a movement to make our stay happy on mother earth we have to take care of the flora and fauna and look to work in a biodiversity way etc . Refunds for recycling given to everybody this is the clean future goverment grant tax payer money (ONE GOOD IDEA TO REDUSE CARBON ADMISSIONS ...................)$2OO,OOO,OOO BACK TO THE COMMUNITYS FOR REDUSING CARBON FOOT PRINT

  • @espressonatural "i could tell you im not a folk singer and explain to you why, but you wouldnt really understand, all you could do is nod yourhead, you would nod your head."-Bob Dylan..

  • @TheChronaholic Not even, raps been going for ages. Take a look at Rocky Road to Dublin and Hot Asphalt for 2 Irish examples of early rap-like music.

  • if i could have a conversation with anyone it would be bob dylan and john lennon<333333

  • It I Could Be Anyone From The Past Id Likee To Be Someone Likee Bob Dylan

  • This is my favorite version! Thank you!! My favorite bootleg series as well! :)

  • @crappyscreenname21

    How was the concert?

  • thanks great tune fromthe worlds greatest poet.

  • there just aint much more anti-christion than bob, cept probably john lennon...god bless both of them

  • @THXcooper Bob Dylan became a born again Christian in the late 70's, but I don't know what he believes in now.

  • @62grossman hmmm, ive seen the contrary but want to believe that true.

  • @62grossman Went back to Judaism.

  • @THXcooper anti christian and god bless them in the same sentence?.. hmm

  • @THXcooper Bob Dylan has always been, to my observation, a very spiritual person. He has assured many times that he has faith in a higher power. Of course, I can't speak for him. He has been regarded for his Judaic practices. Also, as stated earlier, he became a born-again Christian in the seventies. It is currently a mystery (so is most everything about him) about what he exactly believes, though he's been seen visiting synagogues. I will agree that John Lennon was a sure-fire atheist.

  • @THXcooper Continuing from my previous post... Or at least, Lennon was content with no leaning on a higher power for the sake of mankind (see "Imagine"). I don't think he stuck with that meditation ordeal or not, but I do believe he points that out in "Across the Universe."

  • Someone killed the best Masters of WAR! And I am one who knows! Was it the Bush Regime who done it?

  • Thanks for uploading!

  • Happy Birthday, Bob. May 70 be excellent in many ways.

Also for Keeper, whose events seems to make this song something to listen to.

  • have this album from 1964, i think

  • Who the hell took away the real live version of this song (which was the best version)Probably some corporate C-word. I surly do feel I at least should have gotten a kiss.

  • @voveep this is a live version

  • THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO UPLOAD.BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS SONG.
