Well I was, but I've only got this one left now, and I'm about to sell it on Ebay. Now I have a Schecter Hellraiser and a couple of Les Pauls; latest addition with active pickups. Will be showing on YouTube very soon with some new cover videos! Please visit my channel page and check out some of my other covers!
I thought I'd just about seen every comment on my videos from good, to bad, to fake, to inspiring, etc.....but never a comment such as yours. Thank you.
@Myrie2k11 He's using a tube amp probably. it gives a natural distortion when it gets turned up past a certain point. its what modern distortion pedals are made to replicate because a lot of shitty amps nowadays have no tubes, just computers that replicate the tube
dude how do you switch from the clean part to the distortion parts without even using a pedal or standing up? by the way, is a guitar with only a humbucker good? cause I've got one guitar of the FirstAct brand. It isn't famous like jackson or esp but I only have that while I work and earn some money so I can buy a jackson rr js30 with a better amp THANKS ....
Think I just switched between neck and bridge pickups for clean/lead parts, with volume rolled back on neck pickup for clean parts. The Kevin Bond Signature Rhoads on the wall in the video has only one humbucker; great for metal but not that versatile. Many other things matter so much more than number of pickups......
@DrSlackBladder Dude i dont speak english much so i didnt understand the message properly what you mean by the volume rolled back on neck pickup? you have the volume knobs for both pickups seperate?? thanks in advance sry for my english
@harimarockfan95 turn your amp's volume to high or mid-high, turn down your guitar's volume , it'll actually turn it down a little bit but actually turns down the distortion, when you want disto, turn the volume up , vis verca
Do you know anything i can download on my laptop that would let me put in a song from itunes and listen to it at like 90% speed or something? And that can separate each thing, like you put in fade to black and you only hear the lead guitar or the bass or drums?
I used a distortion pedal on only two or three of my covers; not for this or any of the other thirty something! Just amp overdrive channel. And I don't even own one now; when playing live I use no effects, just my Engl Screamer amp.
Hey great video how do you record you audio and what camera do you have? i know its been a couple of years now but maby you remeber thanks in advance :)
I bought the tab book; and although I'd love to play more, learn more covers and play in my band more, make some lesson videos and even compose some of my own stuff, I just don't have the time!
so im learning this song and i have everything but that verse solo at 2:35 i cant find tabs for it anywhere. could u tell me where i could find that specific part or give me the tab? thanks.
I just wanted to say "that is is truly a beautiful guitar" first thing that came to my mind. Its so simple, yet so sleek. Can you tell me the brand and model? Also great cover :)
no; a little via classical lessons when I was eight years old, but nothing I use now. can't read music anymore. i'm just a self-taught rock/metal player who uses tab now....
hello sir, im thinking of buying a jackson, but i dont really like the frets they've got, im thinking of swapping the regular frets with jumbo frets, do u think that would mess up the sound too much? or make it harder to play, id love to hear a reply.
@DrSlackBladder nope, they´re regular, almost like acoustic guitar frets. anyway, jumbo frets are somewhat more sensitive and give u that, well les paul kinda sound. its just that u look pretty uh, old lol so i thought u might have a little more experience. so do u recomend i swap regular for jumbo? id really hate to swap them and get a shitty sound, id rather make sure they´ll give me good results.
hey dude your video is awesome! but I have a question that I though you would be perfect for answering
1.- I'm thinking of buyin' a squier strat with a 30 watt peavey amp, do you recommend it to play that kinds of music? (metal, thrash, etc.) thanks by the way
Thanks. Personally, I don't like Strats, and generally you would not find them playing metal. For the same money I got myself an Epiphone Les Paul and swapped out the pickups for something hotter (see my other vids), or you could get a low end Jackson. But of course some will disagree, not least Iron Maiden's guitarists, Yngwie Malmsteen, etc.....you don't say which Peavey amp model, but as long as it has a decent amount of gain I guess it's ok.
@harimarockfan95 dude i would wait a little bit to buy a guitar that is definitly not a squier, cause those are made cheaply and aren't made for metal at all. Get a low end jackson or esp. If your low on money which no offence AT ALL but is what it seems since your buying a squier strat, i would say buy an esp v-50. my friend has one with a line 6 spider IV 75 watt and it plays nicely, that great for a first guitar or even a guitar after you've played for maybe a year or so.
@StormBlitzM37AL thanks hahaha and by the way I'm sorry I replied you this late hahaha I think you're right but here where I live in, the instruments are so expensive even when they're not worth it (in some cases) hahaha I didn't buy that squier so I'm thinking of perhaps buying another guitar cause I want to play more like thrash/speed metal first as a rhythm guitar and then maybe as leader.Hope you can see my videos in a future ;)
ok video is good but how can you using that v case guitar while sitting ? :D i m thinking about get a new v case guitar but i m in trouble with use it while stting
ive been playing for 5 months with a very cheap amp and i have to play each string which is very demanding
