@SuperQuikness mate what are you on about!!! drum and bass came from hardcore back in the day. they used to be very similar genres but have know gone there separate ways. know ya roots. hardcore should never die becuz there are many people who surport the scene and enjoy going to these raves. I would be very sad if there was a slammin vinyl event with just Drum N Bass, Hardstyle and Hard dance event. It wud suck ass mate. If it wasnt for hardcore i wudnt love such genres like dnb nowadays. HWND!

@MusicUploadsion It's a complicated story, but Drum & Bass was born from Jungle Techno. Jungle music broke away from acid house at the same time as the new "hardcore rave" sound was born.

So technically Drum & Bass originated from acid house and not the hardcore, but I get your point :)
