  • epic

  • i love Staind and im glad the new album is in the direction of there roots more . to me it sounds like they kinda blended there hard roots with the softer sound they had been doing.and it worked well i think.

  • Brutal fucking shit, baby...straight fucking brutal!!!!!

  • Decentralized BABY!!!!!

  • Uncensored...and Johnny's kickass bassline = Pure win

  • The Intro. <3

  • This is by far the coolest album cover, ever.

  • Tormented or Dysfunction? I like both CDs

  • damn they used to be heavy as hell i love it

  • I reember when they played this live a few years back.... Sickest song... They played Raw Come Again Mudshovel Price To Pay then flipped over and played Outside Epiphany Tangled Up In You and Believe... It was amazing.

  • sounds like jonathan davis from korn yelling come again, but its aaron right? great singer/vocalist

  • Whoa, Stain'd used to have balls?!?!

  • @BlakkToothGrinn69 they still do

  • Music is what Staind is. Not the other way around.

  • Saw thease guys twice back in the day, years and years ago. My first "real" concert, something apart from my friends local shows. This album (and dysfunction) defines my memories from high school

  • This whole album blew my head completely off with it's raw power!

  • For some reason this reminds me of Crawl Away

  • this reminds me A LOT like korn...

  • I hate staind but this has to be there best album before the other gay shit they did this album actually kicks ass no lie this very fucking cool.

  • @Fatzombie1980 no1 cares. every song n cd staind has put out was amazing. ur just a metal head punk. who only listens 2 hard rock n shit like that. ik ur type. people who only listen 2 1 genre of music. have no taste in music. its pathetic 2 judge music. especially people who only listen 2 1 kind.

  • @babyface0514 staind should go back to the style of tormented and dysfunction and stop playing pussy, mainstream shit

  • @Tamdarion dont come at me startin dumb shit,u dont like there music, dont listen 2 it, plain and simple, that pussy shit sold millions, so they doin something right, the band plays what they wanna play not wat the media wants 2 hear or the fans and if u didnt know there new cd is gonna be harder than wats been out lately. if u know music u would could tell by the lyrics that they would not always play this heavy, if u ask me 2 explain that than you dont know staind.

  • @babyface0514 first of all, it took me about 30 minutes to make it through that incoherent wall of inane dribble you call a response, which already speaks volumes about how stupid you are. you obviously don't know what going mainstream means for a band. you obviously lack the intelligence to infer that I like their first two albums from my statement. some bands play what they think the mainstream peons will like, it's called selling out.

  • they ruined this songed by rerecording it on chapter 4

  • I've listened to this song at least 500 times since it was released on youtube.

  • This album is great because some can totally relate to this.

Staind is incredible. Aaron Lewis is a talented song-writer & vocalist.

Staind's music rocks! And this song reminds me of Korn for some reason.

  • Staind is alot of times listed as "New Metal" or "Metal" and i never knew why until now

  • awesome ending

  • This is the only song along with Mudshuvel that I like on this album.

  • this song is not on the same album as mudshovel. this was there first and best album, tormented

  • @MrReap113 Mudshuvel was the original version of the song "Mudshovel," and that version appears on Tormented. I didn't care for the album to be honest, but that's just my opinion. I'm glad you like it.

  • @ShaneBeacham BREAK!!!! SADNESS EVERYDAY FOIRMEE!!!!! U CANT TAKE THAT AWAY FROM ME!!!!!!

  • they are re-releasing this album on May 18th! I can't wait.......this is an awesome song.

  • @chad81496 oh dude thats sick! fuck yeah! cant wait!

  • i love this song!

does anyone know if they re-released this yet?

i have a copy i got of the net but want the real thing. :)

  • @snoop23foo they only sell it at concerts

  • I hear a Tool influence here.

  • yeah youre right since this album was made in that era along with korn and bizkit which you can hear a little of too.

  • Fucking brutal

  • when did this album come out in realtion to dysfunction?

  • I think Tormented came out in 96 and Dysfunction followed in 99

  • 3 years before dysfunction

  • oh ok thanks

  • about 3 years before. in 1996

  • The opening to this song is kick ass!

  • okay...so I saw them in Roanoke Va. on tuesday. NOT ONLY did they open with Raw (in addition to playing mostly their heavy music)...they actually played this song.

good to know they haven't forgotten about the fan base that made them famous...gives me hope for one more brutal album

  • holy shit dude i saw the same show, they did raw, spleen mudshuvel, come again, open your eyes...did they do pressure or suffer, i cant remember. com again was the reason i went though, cool we saw the same show tho.

  • Never gonna happen. Aaron doesn't write music to please the fans. He writes it to express his emotions, and he's just not the pissed off, suicidal person he used to be.

  • thank you! gah ppl these days just dot understand that! i like Staind both ways! they are just very talented and their music is so real!! (:

  • caitie101508

    AGREE %100

people that don't like the new Staind stuff. i understand what they miss. but ppl grow learn change. plus if you want to hear the same thingg disc after disc? there r some crapy bands i can recomend if you want. not you caitie.

    peace.

  • @ScottXC91 Actually, I heard that the suicidal person that wrote these songs wasn't Aaron Lewis, but the guitarist I think, one of the other band members. The new ones are written by Aaron Lewis. But you're right, people like me really need this music.

  • @ScottXC91 Really? 'Cause their newest album is the heaviest to date. Lmao.

  • @AlphaPhatFilms i thought it was tormented that was there heaviest

  • @jakeEsteel Naw bro, the newest one is heaviest. Listen to 'Paper Wings'.

  • Aaron got married to the love of his life and had a few kids of his own - of course Staind's music is going to sound different now.

I'm happy for em - as great as this cd is, no one should sound this pissed and disturbed all of their lives

  • Well I'm glad someone else realizes why Staind's music doesn't sound like this anymore.

  • listening to this makes me scream in my head

  • I still can't believe they recorded this album in a fucking basement!? Quality nearly sounds the same as studio.

  • Staind is the fucking shit.

  • YEAHH THE OLD STAIND RULES!

  • All Staind rules. It's just different.

  • quite an evolution for staind.

bands do undergo changes. let them play what they want to play.

staind was such a flexible band being able to play different genres of music.

    aaron is a genius.

  • @MacoiXxIII

    wait, wat?

This son'gs ancient, what are you on about?

  • staind kicks ass you suck bitch

  • This song makes me feel like releasing all of the fucking anger I hold inside because of that mother fucker.. by breaking some shit!

Put your fucking hands on me again after I've listened to this song Kyle! I DARE YOU!

  • Fuck yeah, you tell that mean ocean!

  • this is what happen they are happy now. its hard to sing about killing yourself when your happy. good song tho.

  • yea...like the old staind better.

  • Staind...what the fuck happend to you?

  • this kinda has an old school korn sound to it

  • this is great staind fuckin classic

  • a classic song

    listen to our songs

  • Wasn't this also released on the Right Here-EP?

  • A remixed version was released on the Staind Singles Album.

  • Oh, that's why it's different. Thanks!

  • i think Five Bolt Main copied a part of this song in theirs

  • does anyone know what tuning this is in?

  • if there were no singles, then why was this on the the singles compilation album?

  • because it rocks is comfortably numb a single no its a good cover

  • love the song

  • hey DIennon91 how come theres not a music vid or at least a live performance of this song?

  • Cuase Staind never made a video for any of this album. Pretty sure theres a few live performances of this song on youtube

  • @kevinator1992 there's few live performance of this one and Tolerate, I have the video on my channel

  • Staind is the fucking shit.

  • @Dlennon91 They played Download festival in England 2 years ago, i saw them there and they were AMAZING !

  • @donnym3ga hey..I know a lot of people that know 4 songs(everything changes, all i want,it's been a while etc) and because they are able to do it they have seen them live a 10000000 times!it doesn't make you a fan if you watched them live or not. I'm 16 and i have been listening to them the past 4 years but they've never came to my country, this doesn't make me less obsesed with them!. And its not a big deal knowing or not about j-cat..the songs are basically the same.Don't be so harsh...cheers:)

  • Awesome song

  • Everytime you want me to be something I could never be,you'll just have to wait and see untill the next time you will COME AGAIN@@@@@@ Come Again for me.

  • Anyone know where Erin Lewis derived these lyrics from. I don't know of any molestation in his family or otherwise.I would love to know where this came from. Sincerely; Great Song for All of us Sufferers.

  • Staind is an incredible band both live and commercial. It's too bad Fred Durst had to promote them. Anyway they made stars of themselves. Kudos. I have never seen any band be able to ROCK and sing Ballads during the same show, all with real emotion. Much Love to STAIND. They will be around forever.

  • This is one of the best songs ever written by Erin. If anyone could tell me where the lyrics come from, I would be greatly inclined. Anyway, love Staind and this song especially. I treat my anger problems with this kinda shiznit. Thank-you Erin Lewis

  • You sure you don't mean Aaron Lewis, not Erin?

Forgive me if i'm wrong but i've never heard of a Erin Lewis :S

  • @kjctec96 Did Aaron Lewis have a sex change that none of us are aware of?
