  • masterpiece

  • the cry of an eloquent but broken soul

  • @12inchvertical well-said

  • wow! i love you john ;D

  • that was beautiful...and hearing another brilliant piece from the brilliant man that he already is on his birthday today 5th march 2011, i'm honoured to be born in this era just because he's around saving the world from the other crappy music that surrounds us.

happy birthday john. i love you and respect you for every song you've made, and for so much more...

  • genius. Pure expression.

  • hearing it for the first time his voice sounds the most unmelodic

  • this is real depression

  • haha sorry i didnt really mean to call you an asshole a few months ago, i'm just playing around talking shit. my mistake.

  • This is beyond normal human understanding, you cant put something like this into words, its just unbelievable,i fall into another dimension, its the most important thing for me,to get this feeling, while hearing this music

  • @BallStarLOL well dude i am a huge frusciante fan, and this album was made when he was at his worst in his addiction, and he made it for drug money. that was his motivation. i guess i can understand if you think this shit is epic because he was so fucked up and you can tell when you listen to it but honestly niandra is his best

  • Comment removed

  • I honestly have trouble listening to this...it's so fucking intense and emotional and of course perfect

  • I want this album sooo bad!

  • I love frusciante But it's really bad for me to lisssin to any of his songs from his dark era too much pain

  • @jahstp same here

  • This song is beautiful. The whole record is like a window into his soul. This song was written for River Phoenix when he was still around, strange that while the world was going 'phoenix is dead from drugs?! impossible!' John was sat with a track that pretty much summed up his buddy better than any E! report or artical could. "you're always on the decline, you take another sip of wine- a toast to us"; that's imagry. and likely why Phoenix's family pulled his tracks from niandre. truth hurts.

  • just read JF's biography and than listen to it again, please..

    you will become wiser

  • whats the name of his biography?

  • @Blutaar250 yeah dude whats the name of the biography. ive been looking for one

  • raw. beautiful. unchangable

  • this album is raw, discrete talent that is extremely deep. his vocals show us the horror of heroin abuse and shakes us. Frusciante is extremely talented. and this album is extremely creative and psychadelic. An inspiration has arised from such a terrible depression. This music is beauty and pure inspiration. Produced by a troubled soul it helps us to realise that life itself is inexplainable. sometimes music can answer questions that words could not.

  • i think it would be cool if he would rerecord the albums he did when he was using in a better quality and voice... dont wanna say his voice was bad back then but different

  • i dont i think it would ruin the genuiness of this album

  • extremely creative.

  • john frusciante promised to rerelease this album =) HURRY UP JOHN

  • haha

  • lol

  • This has to be the best thing ever created.

  • yeah... it just might be that... at least to me

  • can someone send me this album, i can't afford £50 on ebay!!!

  • this record and niadra have some of the greatest moments of music ive ever heard, but hardly any of them are great all the way thru. johns solo work is so amazing tho, he is able to capture emotion without seemingly even trying.

  • "sad" songs make me so much happier than "happy" songs

  • @crayyawn same here like frusciante is the best to listen to when feeling down or anytime really.. i really like him very artistic

  • it's amazing how he manages to transmit his pain through his music ! incredible

  • This is phenomenal, "smile from the streets you hold" and "nianda lades and usually just a t-shirt" are both results of what an artist who normally suffers pain and then becomes stricken with an addiction, your hearing his greatest highs and his lowest low at the same time, john frusciante's work is heart felt in the greatest and worst ways at the same time, someone who takes the time to listen can see that, i'm glad john frusciante made it through all this a stronger more brilliant person :J

  • jphn open'd a new style of guitar for me.

    its sweeet

  • to Johns smile is the greatest thing in the world

    love this song

  • play this song backwards, through your left speaker.

  • what do i get?

  • another guitar solo.

  • yeah man. I have this effect too. It's called reverse delay. it makes it sound really cool. I love it. How can you make a song play backwards?

  • download a free audio editor and you can do it through that.

  • I mean.. isn't it kinda obvious there's a reverse tape guitar solo running through the song? I mean, other than the minimalist rhythm, that's all the track is for prolly more than 50%

  • jesus christ this song shuld totaly be re-released. this is sum awsum shit! power to john

  • i think we need to hear this kind of song to understand john....

  • I love John.. Amazing song.. Can't understand how some people doesn't like this..

  • Err... actually this isn't the full song...

He goes on a kinda different tone for about 20-30 more seconds...

  • hey asshole its not "cuz your..."

its put your things, put your plan to the test

  • Isn't that a bit harsh, man? I mean, English isn't even the guy's first language.

  • he's drugged up and his first language is english

  • Actually, I wasn't referring to Frusciante, I was replying to a comment where someone gave the video's creator hell for the incorrect lyrics. Trust me kid, I know my Frusciante.

  • i love this album

  • me too :D

  • strange sound but i like it!

  • love this song ! :D

  • the title of this song/album does not make any...grammatical sense. but it speaks to me and communicates a feeling...which is goal enough for any language.

  • the titles a combination of two of the lines from the lyrics of this song

  • this song is pretty much disturbing when you know frusciante story , he was big time on hard drug at this time

still a good song but so much disturbing

  • He's a genious. His music brings out a special feeling in me. :)

  • I just found out that River Phoenix is singing in the background or front, can't quite tell. just read it on imdb

  • That's actually hight down. On this album but different song. =)

  • to whoever uploaded this thanks a lot, i think its heat of the sun on my palm not paw, just a heads up

  • fucking amazing

  • i bought this album for about £70 and its worth every penny

  • ouch, i got it on amazon factory packed brand new for £20

  • ouch, i got it for free. the internet.

  • Yea...but mines just gonnna go up in value - good investment, not that im selling it anytime soon

  • omg. that was spectacular, amazing, and beautiful!!!!!

  • The Song with the bong intro is for air. This does sound like castles made of sand. and your right he loved hendrix. have you seen his stack of hendrix vinyl?? Its HUGE!

  • Even when he was fuked up on dope he had a great sensibility for music. This guy's a genious.

  • the outro makes me cry

  • Reminds me of Castles Made of Sand,

    JF loved Hendrix..

  • is this the one where you can hear the bong? my speakers r shitty so dont say do u her 1

  • no its for air an instrmental

  • any1 else find 3:16 fucking intense?

  • the whole thing is very intense

  • the outro (guitar part) speaks to me... its so beautiful

  • You Know The Bit How He Plays The Electric Guitar...

    There Are Lyrics Under It..

that he has tried to cover up

    its so mysterious

i want to know what they are???

    anyone have any idea????

this man is a legend.. and i love him with all my heart

  • if I hadn't listened to this song on yesterday's situation , I would understand it clearly. But last day the way you showed me made me hardly know what you are thinking about me through this song.....

  • I`m glad that there are records like this, people have bigger music choise...

krystalwyatt: is it so scary ?? for me more scary is all of that shit you can watch in TV every day... especially number of comercials :P:P thats fucking scary...

  • i understand.. its mysterious and so deep

  • its great though, weird music effects and intense lyrics are the best type of music.

  • totally agreed...he had so much drug inside...now he is a new spiritual person..from this time to now it´s what i call " a miracle"

  • john has made some of the most beautiful pieces of musical art to this day

  • smile from the streets you hold. the name is beautiful. Every time i hear tis i feel so sad. *cry* *cry* John was going so deep in his drugs. He was almost dead. Thank god he's still alive and make the most wonderfull thinks you could ever dream. I love john frusciante so much and he is a fantastic artist and person. I think his drugsperiod maked him stronger than ever. he is amazing and he even get better. But i don't love this. :'( Its sad.

  • where the rest of the song u chopped it off? the ending is the best. its random but beautiful

  • there's no rest of the song

what you mean is another song called "I can't see till' i see your eyes"

  • thanks so much for posting these songs, they're so amazing and important to JF and they're so beautiful in such a raw way. I'm trying to get a copy of this off of ebay right now
