@Dillonsimeone Right, I can understand that can be frustrating. But I think if someone didn't speak English, and could only spell (obviously that wouldn't make sense, but you get my point), and wanted to get better and English, I would appreciate their effort. It might be frustrating for me, but life's not always about me. Most deaf I know appreciate the attempt, and as long as the hearing person is willing to learn, they enjoy helping them. But, not everyone's alike.
I am taking an ASL class and I find it fascinating. It's a beautiful language, and the emphasis on facial expressions helps me understand. If English focused more on expression, I would have a much easier time understanding what other people mean.

@nace888 Correct me if I am wrong @kmklined, but I belive that concept behind the sign is "experienced forward and backward". In the context of the signs, she is saying that she is no stranger to intense pain and she experienced it all because of the love she feels.

@PianoFunnyMan actually, facial expressions are like voice inflections for hearing people. if you are signing, and dont use facial expressions, its like talking in a monotone. i have friends who are deaf, so ive had to learn fairly quickly how to sign. when i was fingerspeaking for the most part, i used facial expressions to help get my message across. So maybe YOU should do more research before you start correcting people about their sign language.

The stomach sign is the angry word, upstand...Ups...Something like that.

I am deaf/hard of hearing and I used to be a sign language interpreter but decided to become a CDI (certified deaf interpreter)...so believe me when i say this, YOU ARE AMAZING AND VERY TALENTED! are you hearing or deaf? where did you learn ASL? your signing is perfect! If anybody else says otherwise they just dont understand true ASL!!!

She really did do a GREAT JOB! :). You should also watch allyballybabe's videos, she is good too. I am not deaf or hh but i took an asl class in middle school and it really interests me, just like all foreign languages, so I love watching these videos to learn :)

I am 80% deaf in my right ear... When I saw this video, It was sooo touching, I did not need words to enjoy this song. YOU ARE TRAMENDOUS ! Thank you very much for putting in emotions in this video. I loved it !!!

I am no where near fluent in ASL, but while I know what she signs is not the lyrics he sings, what she signs is what he means. I love her interpretation of this song. Her performance is amazing and more moving than I could have imagined. I'm awed.

Amazing. I wish I could do sign language like that. The only thing I kno how to do is abc's, name, what, n thats it. I want to take sign language in college but im scared ill fail from my memorie. i use to kno it very well when I was younger cause my only friends was deaf. But I had to move n I lost it :(

You and another interpreter on youtube are my favorite. I was teaching myself sign language with songs in high school, and I still want to learn... Formally. I love watching the pros interpret songs:) you're amazing to watch. I want to keep watching over and over again!

This is truly amazing, girl you are wonderful, I loved this song to begin with but to see it played out was truly fascinating, I felt the words and the meaning in the song by your expressions and how you used emotion into your signing more then I would if i was to watch Bruno mars music video. <3 So inspiring.
