my mom told me that soraya was shah's first and only love.. they got divorced because soraya's or shah's sister was jealous of her and took her to the doctor to give her something so she can't be pregnant and shah was forced to divorce her because she couldn't bring a son. how sad :) thank god she is free from this miserable world.

your mother is right, she couldn't get pregnant and that was why shah had to divorce her. however the story about shah's sister is definitely wrong. i have read 2 books about Soraya's life and have done many searches; Soraya herself had a problem with getting pregnant becasue her womb had not grown enough to grow a child in itself, 1 out of maybe 1000 women have this problem. although Ashraf(shah's sister) was the biggest enemy of Soraya, she definitely did not have any role in Soraya's illness.
