It's pretty simple really. In the US, the GOP is the party of old white men. Yet when it comes to their representatives, they always manage to find the handful of non-white men to represent them (David Steel (black) to run the party and Sara Palin (woman) to run for office. @manictatter well I think both parties have flaws, but really my annoyance with the GOP is that in the last election, 85% of the republican candidates (including Palin) thought evolution was a fraud and that creationism and Jesus should be taught in public schools instead. In addition, all abortions should be outlawed, sex ed should be outlawed, and public schools would be much safer if every kid had a gun. They're just a bit too crazy for my taste.
