I wouldn't include Mario Kart, since you didn't like the Wii version...EXCEPT, Nintendo's fixed a few things. The power slides are apparently back to normal, and they've changed the Blue Shell. It no longer flies, so like in MK 64, it hits everybody. Will you get a 3DS soon now? :)

I totally agree with tobin.... i was super excited for Crysis 2....Watched every fucking video of it from their offical website....then finally i had this game and i was ssoooooooooooo dissssappppointed.......i played it and for me the game was empty nobody was around me.....just enemies.....there is nobody around me whom i can talk.....enjoy and take fun.....just empty world....Nobody is around me and then no story........and once i finished it completely i didn't picked it again.....
suggestion: yesterday i downloaded a game called ''capsized'' from steam and im loving it so far! its an indy game but whatever its really nice fast paced action. you guys should try it when you have some free time. :)
Ive been playing Crysis 2 allo recently and Love it! I thought Tobin would like it way more as he is into singularity...its a shame. I got Dead space 2 but find that way to linear....also bought Mortal Kombat & Portal 2 but keep coming back to Crysis 2!!!
Unfortunately The coins on the 3DS for walking max out at 10 per day and I believe its 1000 steps for 10 coins. Or at least thats the way it seems for me and I had over 15k steps the other day helping my sister move and still only got 10.

Tobin, I'm disappointed you didn't like Crysis 2. They fixed the suit abilities which is what you hated about the first and then you complain about the story, which I agree is not great.The start is a bit slow but the story gets more interesting once the Aliens are introduced.
You loved vanquish which had a terrible clichéd story but was fun as hell. Crysis 2 is just as fun but you don't need a story to enjoy it.
It's the best Singleplayer FPS I've played since Bioshock.
@KEEPINGAGOODHEART Yeah, they definitely would lose out on money in future games if they released a level editor. but after awhile of playing just puzzles people will still want the atmosphere, story, and humor that a new game would bring. The way i look at it is it would be like Call of Duty. No matter how many multiplayer level DLC's they release people always buy the new one when it comes out.
This question goes out to Tobin. I finished playing portal 2 the other day (which was awesome!) but i found it a little on the short side. This got me thinking why dont they release a DLC with more puzzles. As I got to thinking about it more I thought why dont they release an online portion with a level editor that lets you build your own puzzles and then post them for everyone to play like Trials HD. Even have a leaderboard of times. I was wondering what your thoughts were on DLC's for portal?

You know what sucks about that coin currency thing on 3DS...you can only get 10 coins per day. :P I think they reward you one coin for every 100 steps, so only 1,000 steps can count for one day, going over that number is pointless.

I'm with you, Tobin. Crysis 2 isn't a bad game by any means, and technically it's pretty damn great, but the overall sum of its parts didn't add up to all that much for me. The atmosphere and story were severely lacking. Those two aspects are exactly why I'm so hyped for L.A. Noire. Hopefully you guys get to play it next week.

Hey, I have one hell of a question for you guys. Is there a chance that you would make a video of each of your top 5's? Across all types of games, whether they be downloadable, retail, indie, anything. They can be from any time, not just recent. Or you don't even have to make a video, I'm just quite interested to know what they are.
I can see where you's are coming from with Crysis 2...but personally I loved the game. Planning out your attack and customizing weapons is what makes my dick hard. I also loved fighting the aliens, its just cool when they are running towards you and you can see half your bullets hit them and the rest hitting their armour.
Even though the 3DS is awesome, mobile gaming will be the death of traditional portable gaming. No one wants something that only does one thing anymore.
@tobin00 Blizzard announced it during their conference call and made it official the day later! And they've been pumping screenshots/videos of in-game content, the game looks great.
In similar fps games with sneaking you'd be a sniper, a medieval assassin with lots of cool kill moves or like that mutant dude who absorbs people , that still makes you feel powerful and massacre feels nice, but not in this game. It's just kinda, I guess the word I'm looking for would be - tedious.
You sneak, you kill a dude, you move a bit, repeat this like 100 and you reach the next checkpoint, this ain't a funny game mechanic afaik.
Crysis 2 didn't make sense to me. Who the hell are CELL? and why are they calling me prophet when I'm Alcatraz, and why was that girl with the CIA, and why are there only 4 soldiers in delta company, and why did gould say meet him at a specific place as he knew the way but made me go through loads of checkpoints with armed soldiers, and who is Strickland and what's with the suit, and why are aliens here and where did they come from, and what's with the disease everyone has and why ah forget it.

I want to give you guys a tip of a game called "Garshasp: The Monster Slayer", its a new game that just got released on steam. Its made by a company that is based in Iran, thats right IRAN. I hope you guys can check it out, its not the best game in the world. But being its made by a noob team from a country that is not so popular, I hope you can shed some light on it.

The problem is that developers are making games for the i phones and such that are not suitable, its good for simple touch screen games, but the fact that they have games like Mega man 2 on the store, is a joke, That game is stupidly difficult with physical buttons, let alone virtual controls.

The entire 3DS section you guys did was the most insightful thing I've ever heard in my entire life. You guys are my heroes. Dunno if someone told you already in a comment, but sony IS making a phone. When you slide it up, its got a D-pad and the x, o, square, triangle buttons. Its out in europe already in fact
man, i keep my DS Light with me AND my PSP, but the PSP is the only one with that same deal of walkin around. Dissidia, Duodecim, God Eater Burst (which is amaizing btw).

How surprising, NoobToob likes the new more accessible and dumb Crysis 2. It does not reward advanced gameplay and it does not even allow you too use your suit as skillfully. And the multiplayer is very similliar to CoD. meaning it's dumb and accessible.
I don't know whether anybody would agree but I thought that the biggest downfall of all the crytek games is that they spend so much time bigging up the game ENGINE that when I sit down and play, I'm too busy checking out the engine and I don't care about the actual GAME. As a result I spot a few interesting engine features, but I never actually get sucked into the game world.
The thing about phone games I find, they're forgettable. Ok, they make loads of money but, at the end of the day, they're games you play when taking a dump.
@Penri02 I could say the same about a lot of mobile games on the DS and PSP :). But yeah, I agree that few phone games are memorable, but there are a few good ones, and the number is increasing.

I went to Video Games Live the other day and got NO maps... I canvassed the whole time! I was pretty annoyed.
On the upside, I went to an anime convention a while back and did get a ton of people canvassed. But that was the ONLY time I've ever gotten any guests.
I wish we lived in a more gamer-ish society here in North America. :(
@jenskeroro I was dissapointed with many things in Crysis 2, yet I still had an extremely good time blasting through the fist couple of hours...haven't completed it yet.
What I found most annoying about Crysis 2 is the stange range in quality...graphics are top notch but the AI is absolutely horrible, the abilities are really cool and easy to use, yet the upgrade system isn't very fleshed out and I keep forgetting about it tbh, the world is spectacularly well designed yet the story is poor etc.
@LHswe I was talking about the first Crysis. Crysis 2 has too good graphics for my PC and it's kinda expensive. So far Crysis has been good but not very different from most FPS these days.
When i got5 hours into Parasite Eve3 there was a game breaking glitch that made me drop the game all together.

Valve just released a level editor for Portal 2. The user-created levels can be played on the 360, PS3 and Mac, but can only be created on PC.

The atmosphere and story were severely lacking. Those two aspects are exactly why I'm so hyped for L.A. Noire. Hopefully you guys get to play it next week.

I can see where you's are coming from with Crysis 2...but personally I loved the game. Planning out your attack and customizing weapons is what makes my dick hard. I also loved fighting the aliens, its just cool when they are running towards you and you can see half your bullets hit them and the rest hitting their armour.

I have the same problem with Crysis 2.
In similar fps games with sneaking you'd be a sniper, a medieval assassin with lots of cool kill moves or like that mutant dude who absorbs people , that still makes you feel powerful and massacre feels nice, but not in this game. It's just kinda, I guess the word I'm looking for would be - tedious.
You sneak, you kill a dude, you move a bit, repeat this like 100 and you reach the next checkpoint, this ain't a funny game mechanic afaik.

Crysis 2 didn't make sense to me. Who the hell are CELL? and why are they calling me prophet when I'm Alcatraz, and why was that girl with the CIA, and why are there only 4 soldiers in delta company, and why did gould say meet him at a specific place as he knew the way but made me go through loads of checkpoints with armed soldiers, and who is Strickland and what's with the suit, and why are aliens here and where did they come from, and what's with the disease everyone has and why ah forget it.

I want to give you guys a tip of a game called "Garshasp: The Monster Slayer", its a new game that just got released on steam. Its made by a company that is based in Iran, thats right IRAN. I hope you guys can check it out, its not the best game in the world. But being its made by a noob team from a country that is not so popular, I hope you can shed some light on it.

The problem is that developers are making games for the i phones and such that are not suitable, its good for simple touch screen games, but the fact that they have games like Mega man 2 on the store, is a joke, That game is stupidly difficult with physical buttons, let alone virtual controls.

DEAR Tobin and Yuzo PLEASE play Patapon 3 for the psp its only 20$ brand new!This game came out like a month ago and you guys never reviewd it.Its a rhythm game/ RPG.Pretty original and right up your ally.Also im sure you could get the Patapon 2 for really cheep now a days.Which is less hard than the third one,and my personal fav of the series.

The entire 3DS section you guys did was the most insightful thing I've ever heard in my entire life. You guys are my heroes. And anyone who had even the SLIGHTEST consideration in getting the 3ds has to see this. Especially those who previously labeled it as a console that they would definitely not get. New information is out, and you guys gotta hear it. However, yes, wait for a game you care about. Hopefully they don't waste money on a new 3ds model like the 4 NDS models.

Don't worry about the controller guys, its gonna have buttons and 2 analog sticks/pads AND the touch screen which i heard changes texture so its pretty cool.

man, i keep my DS Light with me AND my PSP, but the PSP is the only one with that same deal of walkin around. Dissidia, Duodecim, God Eater Burst (which is amaizing btw).
also, i still have my pokewalker. dont relly use it as much tho sense i stoped playin pokemon

How surprising, NoobToob likes the new more accessible and dumb Crysis 2. It does not reward advanced gameplay and it does not even allow you too use your suit as skillfully. And the multiplayer is very similliar to CoD. meaning it's dumb and accessible.

I don't know whether anybody would agree but I thought that the biggest downfall of all the crytek games is that they spend so much time bigging up the game ENGINE that when I sit down and play, I'm too busy checking out the engine and I don't care about the actual GAME. As a result I spot a few interesting engine features, but I never actually get sucked into the game world.

I went to Video Games Live the other day and got NO maps... I canvassed the whole time! I was pretty annoyed.
On the upside, I went to an anime convention a while back and did get a ton of people canvassed. But that was the ONLY time I've ever gotten any guests.
I wish we lived in a more gamer-ish society here in North America. :(

@jenskeroro I was dissapointed with many things in Crysis 2, yet I still had an extremely good time blasting through the fist couple of hours...haven't completed it yet.
What I found most annoying about Crysis 2 is the stange range in quality...graphics are top notch but the AI is absolutely horrible, the abilities are really cool and easy to use, yet the upgrade system isn't very fleshed out and I keep forgetting about it tbh, the world is spectacularly well designed yet the story is poor etc.

@LHswe I was talking about the first Crysis. Crysis 2 has too good graphics for my PC and it's kinda expensive. So far Crysis has been good but not very different from most FPS these days.
