  • i will try tea tree...ive used apple cider viniger and it deters spread..transmission fluid, arsenic or turpentine, sounds pretty desperate. when i first was infested, i drank oxygen drops from a store and it cured but i stopped and it came back.

  • thank you for this video was helpful for me i suffer from fungus in my toe nails and my right hand idk y but all i do is i just cut all my nail off now i know that is infected and it just keeps growing i just use vinegar but as my nail grows it still the same were an i get tree oil?

  • @20010eddie Hi, you can purchase it in any health food store like Whole Foods or online. I buy many things at Vitacost.com It's a great site for buying natural products; fast shipping and great prices.

  • Your video is so helpful, thank you very much, can I just ask you what happens in the case of someone having fungal toenails for years? The nails are now yellow and there are some small brown spots on them. Tried some creams and they look better but they haven't cleared out... will tea tree oil work in this case? Thanks so much!

  • @IrisMcMuffy Hi, many people do have these fungus' for years or whatever they have tried has not worked to get rid of it. Tea tree oil will definitely help heal it even if you have had it for a very long time. Remember, it will take quite a while for it to heal because it heals as the nail grows in and the diseased nail grows out and you cut it off. Put it on your fungus morning and night.

  • @YouTips4U thank you so much, you are a star for replying to everyone! I wanted to avoid tablets so I'll start using tea tree oil asap and I'll keep going until I get rid of it, thanks so much!!

  • @IrisMcMuffy Glad to help!

  • My husband has fungal toenails. H goes running and after a long run (marathon) he usually loses a couple of toenails but when they grow back, they are fungal.

If I treat the raw nail beds with neat teatree oil (despite the obvious pain and stinging) would that help to prevent fungal growth on the new nail?

  • @sarahedwardswf14 Hi, your husband may also be losing his nails due to trauma from running. Be sure he has enough room in the toe box of his sneakers, wears cotton socks so his feet breath and if possible when not exercising he should allow his feet the most air possible. Wearing sandals will help as fungal infections need moisture and darkness to stay alive.

  • @sarahedwardswf14 As you know, I am not a medical professional. Your husband may want to consult a doctor if he hasn't yet to make sure his condition is indeed caused by a fungal infection or trauma to his feet. If the doctor confirms a fungal infection of his toenails, then tea tree oil works wonders. As I said in the video, it takes time, but it works! Keep using it as the toenail crumbles off until you don't see anymore infected nail.

  • Where did u buy tea tree oil at ???? ?

  • @CALY211 Hi, I bought it in Trader Joes, but if you don't have one near you, I have seen it in many health food stores like Whole Foods. If you don't have a health food store near you. you can always get it online. I buy many of my health food products at Vitacost.com. They have great prices and terrific service.

  • Good information... like Bimallove I have used Tea Tree Oil

  • The best home remedy is to buy a can of compressed air at walmart. The type used for cleaning your computer. Hold the can upside down, aim the plastic tube at the spot on your toenail, and freeze that spot. In a few days the nail will fall off and it will heal normally. I tried this and it worked beautifully.

  • That is just dissgusting!!!! That makes me want to throw up!!!! Why would u put video about that?

  • Tea tree oil worked for me the first time I used it even though it too several months to work. But when I tried it later when the fungus came back, it made my feet unbearably itchy. I tried it several different times and had the same result. Anyone know why this happened?

  • @psychoeyez ATHLETES FOOT.? I KNEW IT ,KNEW HE SMELLED OF SOME NASTY CRAP ON THE I WANT A NIGERIAN WIFE BOARD.. ahahahahaha ! shit face NEXT TIME YOU POST BULL TO ME GET READY TO PARTY ON YT.. SUCKER..

  • Spilled some automatic transmission fluid on the grass & it killed it about a round space the size of a basketball & grass would never grow back there,

so I was thinking maybe could just dip toes in a lil ucket or bowl of transmission fluid or gas,

do ya think that would work ?

  • @ncwdane Hi, I really don't recommend that you do that. Transmission fluid is not meant to come in contact with skin.

  • @YouTips Well I'm speaking Candidly, yet on the cuff,

Meaning I seriously wonder if it would work, I noticed in my research some said tar was on old method to kill it, I don't see fungus growing in gas/tar or Transmission fluid, I used to work a Lotta roofing & we'd use gas to get tar off our hands, transmission fluid worked too though left kinda a film, Mechanics get it on themselves all the time,& use a special shop goop to remove that, TY for the info bout the fungus get embeded & takes time

  • @ncwdane fbs the only thing to kill the FUNGUS that you call a brain is for you to drown it in bleach and wash it with TAR .. yep your comments on here pretty much tell a story here.. hahaha yep you need a HAND BAG to go with all that and am sure you get regular MASCARA sessions at the local beauty salon.. DOWN LOW how LOW can you go ..? rather be an AFRICAN GORRILLA they got brains you just have a bit of TAR stuck in your teeth.. AND IT IS NASTY .ugh! YOU KNOW GOD DONT LIKE FUGLY TOO.

  • Tea tree oil has been discussed what about Vicks Vapor rub both are not FDA approved. Furthermore the use of T Tree oil needs debridement by a health care proffessional.

Also if there is a suspicious lesion in the toenail plate there may be a need for a biopsy

and to send the specimen to a dermatopathologist. Off the record Tea Tree Oil will

try this only if it is understood there are no guarentees.

  • My toe nails are very dark,I also have ingrown toenails{both of my thumbs are also growing in dark! Will the treatment work on me ? ;•} LOVE & RESPECT

  • Hi, you may, but usually the color is more greenish or yellowish. Perhaps you should ask your doctor and if he/she says it's a nail fungus, then I would definitely give the tea tree oil a go. It's wonderful. I just want you to be sure it's a nail fungus. As for the ingrown toenails, you can treat that with tea tree oil; it will work great, but you must be careful when you cut your nails. You need to cut them straight across and not too short. Unfortunately, it's improper trimming that causes it.

  • Very helpful and complete info that any patient or victim of nail fungus would ever need !!

    Thanx a lot !!

  • thank you so much for sharing. I'm gonna look for this oil and give it a chance. Hope I can see results by next summer.

    Thank you!!!

  • Hello, would you happen to know if green tea works aswell? Thank you.

  • Hi, sorry, I haven't heard about green tea for nail fungus.

  • is it rare for children to have it because im only 11 and i have iot. it first started on my pinkie and spreaded to my big toe and spreaded!! ;( im so embarrassed!! i have it on all my nails all 20!! it may be DNA cuz my mom had it my grandpa had it and especially my dad!! im SO like my dad!~! i do everything like him even look like him!! so is it rare for children>?

  • Hi, anyone can get it and it does spread to other nails.

  • @lily123pink Sweety, it is probably because you use the same bath/shower at home. My mom has fungus on her toenails since I can remember myself and I was mortally afraid to get it cause we were using the same bath/shower. So to make sure I don't ketch the fungus from her I would spray the bath with bleach every time before I used it. You take care of yourself.

  • Where do I can find the tree oil?

  • Hi, you can find it in most natural food stores. I have also seen it in CVS. I buy mine in Trader Joes. If you cannot find it in a store near you, you can order it over the internet. I recommend Vitacost.com. It's a great site.

  • Great info! Heard yogurt, flaxseed, apple cider vinegar / beer mix. tree oil, lemon oil, white thyme oil, vicks vapor rub, gives an unhealthy environment for fungus to grow.

  • where can i get this tea tree oil?

  • Hi, you can buy it any health food store or natural food store. if you don't have one near you, you can find it online at Vitacost.com. That's one of my favorite sites. I get mine at Trader Joes; if you have one nearby.

  • Hi, I had ingrown toenail for quite some years and it's repeated after the doctor removed my toenail. Any better suggestion?

  • Hi, please give the tea tree oil a go. It is wonderful for toenail fungus'

  • suffering from nail infection is a pain and at times it can be embarrasing. its hard to have the courage to wear sandals with fungi. this was me about two years ago. finally. my aunt recommended me tineacide by dr. blaine. i started using it and within less then two months the infection was gone.

  • Me too! I always try to take the natural approach first whenever possible. Your body has an amazing ability to heal itself and there are so many natural products we can use before we turn to medication. I'm glad it's feeling better :o)

  • toenail fungi is very common but its hard to find a medication that cures it. for me, it seemed like i was going to have fungi forever until i found tineacide. tineacide is anti-fungal cream that helps with fungi problems.

  • @23daisyful Where did you get it????

  • Nice explanation.Thanks a lot!LOL

  • Hi, it sounds like you're getting better. That's great. I'm so glad the tea tree oil is working for you. You can also soak it in very warm water. That can really help bring out any pus and help it heal.

  • Hi, usually a nail fungus does not have pus. You may have a bacterial infection. If it continues and you do not see the pus and soreness subsiding, you may want to go to a doctor as you may need antibiotics.

  • Hey thank you my dear - this is great advice - excellent - i have to subscribe!!!!

  • My toenail doesn't grow any more and i can begin to see the nailned at the bottom where the nail and skin is seperating. Do I just let it grow and treat the nailbed when it is gone, then continue treating it as the new nail grows in?

  • Hi, treat it now as it grows. You want to stop the fungus from spreading and this will heal the nail. The nail will not grow in normal until the fungus is killed.

  • Hi, in my experience it was not a problem. It can happen and it's caused by the fungus. I'm sure it can lead to infection if left untreated so do apply your tea tree oil to help heal it. It's best if you try to just cut off the nail at the top of the toe and try to avoid causing the nail to crumble. As the nail grows up, keep removing the top as you normally do until all the infected nail is removed.

  • What about Vicks vaporub ? I've heard that works too but just started using it so I'm not sure yet.

  • Hi, sorry, I have never heard of that as a treatment for nail fungus.

  • Great tip! I didnt know it took that long to heal it. I have had this problem for years. Thanks.

  • also if you use the same polish on your toenails as your nails will your nails get infected?

  • Hi, no. Your nail polish will not transmit the fungus.

  • you said it does not matter if you paint your toenails as long as your putting the tea tree oil around the edges?

  • Hi, that's right. It's perfectly fine to be wearing toenail polish while you are treating your toenails for the fungus. You may want to remove it periodically to check the progress as to how the fungus is going away.

  • Ah thanks for the video!!

  • This is what i was looking for im going to try it!!

  • Do you have to dilute the tea tree oil?

  • Hi, for use on fingernails and toenails for fungus you do not dilute the tea tree oil.

  • hello:) quick question, where can i get the tea tree oil at? i do believe this can help me

  • Hi, you can get tea tree oil in any health food store, or if you don't have one near you, you can try Vitacost.com

  • does this get worse if you have Bunions :{

  • Hi, no. This is a fungus and bunions are an enlargement of bone tissue. They are really not related.

  • Do you have any tips on smelly feet? When I wear boots and take them off they always smell and when I wear sandels I feel like they smell.

  • Hi, spray your boots with a sneaker deodorizing spray. I will also kill the bacteria that causes the odor. Before you put your shoes or sandals on, powder your feet; especially between your toes. This will help absorb perspiration and keep them smelling fresh.

  • Hi thanks for replying but how much oil and how much water do i use if I dilute it? I would like to give this a try.

  • The usual recommendation is three drops of Tea Tree Oil mixed into 1 cup of warm water. Let me know how you like using it and if it helps.

  • Do you have to dilute this before using for nail fungus or can you use it straight out of the bottle? Please respond and thanks for this tip, And do you know if you can use this for receding gums and if so how does one apply it to gums?

  • Hi, you use this straight out of the bottle for your nail fungus. No diluting. Regarding your question on receding gums, tea tree oil can be used successfully for many ailments of the mouth including gingivitis, plaque, and inflamed gums. You definitely must dilute it in warm water before using it as a mouth rinse. Be sure you do not swallow any of this solution; it must be spit out. Thanks for your question, I'm sure others will find it very helpful as well.

  • very good info...like your videos...keep up the good work...God Bless you!!!

  • Thank you so much!!

  • teaspoons*, sorry :)

  • You have a perfect voice! I'd like to ask you about bee pollen, is it ok to take it as a supplement?I've read a lot of good things about it so I started taking it every morning before breakfast - 1 tbsp pollen mixed with 1 tbsp of organic honey.Do you think it is ok? Thanks!

  • Hi, bee pollen is great. I've taken it as well.

  • I've been pretty much doing my usual routine, except I've been running a bit less due to cold weather. My weight is pretty much the same. Thanks for asking :o)

  • So please be patient because as I said the nail has to grow it out. I was amazed at how it cured the problem. You can get more concentrated results by placing a bandaid over your toe to lock in the oil and keep it concentrated on toe as some of it does end up on your sock. Doctors will usually not recommend alternative medicines so you kind of have to find the info on your own. That's why I'm sharing this with viewers. About my weight: I haven't lost any.

  • Hi. I do know that the prescription they give for nail fungus can have bad side effects. I too had a toe nail fungus a few years ago. My dermatologist told me I would have to take this medicine for a long time and it had side effects. There was no guarantee it would solve the problem either. Not wanting to take something like that I turned to a natural approach and started using Tea Tree Oil. It absolutely does work. It will take time.

  • YT has been unsubbing me from all my subscriptions. I just got notice of this vid and ...i cannot remember the last time I saw a vid of yours. I looked up and I see I am unsubbed! just subbed again...but what has been happening is when I reload the page, I am unsubbed all over again!

  • Hi, go to the YouTube help area and post your problem. Google will look into it. It must be some kind of bug in the system. These types of things do happen. It may take them time to fix it, but they do fix it for you. Glad you're back :o)

  • @pipitail If you decide to take the script, your doctor has to -- or should -- perform routine bloodwork to make sure your liver is still okay. I actually went through the whole prescription/topical meds for this, and it did not help me. I used Vicks Vapo-Rub (like for a chest cold) and found that to be helpful. Good luck!

  • Hi, do you know if this tea tree oil treatment is suitable for pregnant women? Thank you!!

  • I would ask your doctor. It may depend on what trimester your in as well.

  • @YouTips4U I know that oregano oil is amazing and can work wonders for fungus internal or external :)

  • @pipitail I know, oregano oil is suppose to be amazing for fungus....internal and external :)

  • This may seem weird to say but, i really like your voice! To me is soothing ...and so nice to listen to! Like, a perfect voice for relaxation videos =)

  • Hi, thank you. Please check out my relaxation/meditation videos. I think you will really like them :o)

  • @YouTips4U Thanks! I really think you should do more relaxation videos! Its so relaxing! And you've got the perfect voice for it :)

  • I hope my husband does let me use this remedy on him, I am concerned he hates that tea tree oil smell when I use it on my pimples!!
