Textbook Doubles: When to Lob Volley

my friend is great at lob volleys and lobs in general and i really like going to the net after using dropshots. I can usually reach his lobs in midair but i usually don't hit a clean over head because i'm moving while hitting it. Is there a better way to deal with lobs that i can reach in midair but in an awkward position.

dude...tough one, if you can barely get to it, try to place it... I know what you mean, you just barely touch it but you're not really sure if you can whack it...and if you whack it, it might go long... try to anticipate better so it doesn't happen--i know lame answer

alritey thanks, i'll try to mix up my shots and hopefully seal my friend's lob until i can get enough speed and jump to hit clean overheads. thnx again
