yes THE FIXX BAND is awesome and they really sound good playing "SAVED BY ZERO'" and deep bass. the album "REACH THE BEACH" was very good. i will always want to listen to there music and videos and each person ib the band does not look that old in mid twentys. is "THE FIXX from u.k. or united states?

The first song on MTV was "Video killed the radio star" by the Buggles. Fairly common knowledge.

I saw The Fixx at Great Adventure (in NJ) in '85 or '86 (or '87, the mid-80-s were a blur)...they were just as great live as they were in the studio. Great musicians.

all month i've been hearing this song on the toyota commercial. i didn't know it was a real song. even though the commercial was talking about a sales event and saving money or something... i was still like, WOW... "saved by zero" the words kept echoing through my head. this song is very contagious. 5 stars.. excellent. and i don't even like 80's rock. i listen to hip hop! lol

I saw these guys with the Outfield and the Smithereens at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix 3 or 4 years ago. I'll admit that I wasn't really there to see the Fixx...I'm a huge Smithereens fan (and they OPENED!!!). I stuck around for the Fixx figuring I'd check out Saved and Red Skies and beat the crowd leaving. These guys were AWESOME!!! They sounded so clean and tight I had to stay and listen to every note. I'm glad I stayed because I would have missed a phenomenal set. These guys rock!

The first time I saw The FIXX live was at a free music festival. I had always liked them, but whoever was in charge of scheduling set times wasn't particularly smart. They had them up against The Bacon Brothers at the same time. I am glad that I went to see The FIXX, because they are PHENOMENAL live. Every chance I get, I go see their live show. And Cy is such a nice person too (all of them are). Can't wait to see them again soon!

The Fixx is great. Ever since i started collecting vinyl i keep liking these guys more and more. One of the best acts to come from the 80's in my opinion. And they still sound trippy even after all these years. Hell he's fucking old and he sounds great live. Might not have as much stage charisma but i don't get why they aren't popular any more.
