  • Guru meditation 00COAAHHCi:

Amiga is dead, but survive in our memory as the best ever OS and hardware design ...

  • #### great! :) Respect

  • :D Amiga in Spanish is Girlfirend

  • @pawel1818 Female friend better, Girlfriend is "novia" (relationship, dating , and such)

  • I love Amiga because of their cool PowerPC motherboards, they are beast lol....

  • Amiga is dope! Not a lot of people use it and it's horrible.

  • Jajajajaj lol... that will never happen

  • @konihonyin Jajajajaja-binks? what kind of moon speak is that?

  • Yep, Amigas will destroy your network if you put them on it..

  • coming 21/12/2012

  • Huzzah for AMIGA!!

  • I think most Amiga haters are Mac & PC fanboys who never used the Amiga or don't even know what it is.

  • @pokerockmario123 people who have never used an amiga or even seen one, I feel sorry for.

  • what the fuck is amiga

  • @KingofSenf A personal computer series introduced in 1985 by Commodore. Amigas gained a reputation early on as advanced graphics and multimedia machines, and NewTek's Video Toaster application brought it to the forefront of economical, high-end video editing.went into bankruptcy then got bout by Escom, then sold to Gateway then thay gave it to Eyetech and thats all i know. lol

  • @44971719785648751978

sounds like a mac with less features -.-

  • @KingofSenf you're too young to understand the magic of it.

  • @SuperStarChaoz probably :p

  • @KingofSenf HAHA , you must be joking!!!

  • wat

  • LOAD "" (ENTER)

  • That is C64 or any basic dialect. Try Move.w #65535, $DFF180 or something like that instead...

...And since you like C64 try a poke 53280,3 and/or a sys64738 just for the hell of it ;)

  • @Tinkiwnki77

    R Tape Loading Error, 0:1

    :P :)

  • Yep, Amiga blew up my network too. Probably due to lack of memory protection...

  • Commodore when out of business, so the Commodore Amiga doesn't exist anymore.

Someone unrelated to Commodore purchased the Amiga name, and now they make computers using PowerPC processors (the IBM processors that Apple used before they switched to Intel) and they run of their own OS (which I think is Unix based).

I liked my Amiga back in the day. The new ones have nothing in common though, might as well use a Linux box.

  • @shaolindave00 Not totally true. There is a philosophy of Tao programming behind all Amigas. Unlike the Macs and PCs. Plus, OSX has zero to do with Mac OS7 from the 1990's. In fact, all Macs sold today have zero in common with the Macs from the 80's and 90's, completely different OS, cpu, motherboard, etc, etc.

  • LOAD "*" ,8,1

  • RUN

  • Commodore went out of business,

although it was more due to poor leadership after Jack Tramiel left them imo,

than microsoft "putting them out of business"

And to think they put "every computer" company out of business is a huge assumption to make.

  • whats amiga plz tell me

  • Google it brotha!

  • Nothing uncommon for people not to know amiga.

    But check Wikipedia.

Basically Amiga could do what any microsoft pc could do 15 years later.

If IBM never got into the PC business, Apple Macintosh and Commodore Amiga would be the 2 leading consumer computer platforms.

  • ...if Amiga had different management.

  • @hectorae86 Apple was the pioneer and leader on the Personal Computer Market (PC). When IBM backed with its reputation of the indisputable leader in the mainframe world came to the PC market it took the No. 1 spot but made two terrible blunders, first they chose generic hardware so thousands of PC clones appeared and second never assured the rights of the CP/M-clone operating system that later became the basis in which the Microsoft empire was founded. IBM didn't stay for long.

  • Oh my god how stupid can people possibly be

    COMMODORE

  • what are you on about?

I posted a comment 4 months ago you retard.

    Leave me alone.

    Fuck off

  • Yep, an Amiga destroyed my network too!

  • I never experienced The pleasure of working with an Amiga computer but from Watching some of the old promos of the Amigas on you tube I have to admit These computers were a head of their time. :Furthermore, it wouldn't surprise that the creators of Rock band, and Guitar hero got their ideas for their games from Watching some Musical game they saw on Amiga system.

  • HAHA :)

    AMIGA in 2010......

We are the industry, so why hide it. Return to your roots.

  • I LUV AMIGA TOO!!

    (but my A3000 doesn't work now :( )

    also:

WHO CARES ABOUT THAT AMIGA'S IS OLD???

THEY WERE BETTER THAN PC'S (and atari's of course)

  • LOL YESSSS Amiga Rulezzzz <3

    Amiga 4 Ever !!!

  • So Amiga destroys networks? Hm. Amiga girl's hot.

  • Too bad a PC couldn't do as much as an Amiga could, even if you had spent $ 15,000 for it.

  • who thinks Amiga is dead search amiga os 4 video`s here!!

  • There is no reality for those who still use an Amiga.

  • true but reality sucks xxx

  • Hell yeah! I use 2 Amiga's and a DJ mixer to do live gigs (I've got a video up here) and it rocks partys like you wouldn't believe. The audio on it was years ahead of it's time and still stands up :-)

  • Too brief. More nosebleeding action before the culmination please.

  • Insensitive jerk.

  • Commodore Amiga 500, in 1987 was the most advance machine on the planet!!! Even today, there's no video game's machine capable of being like Amiga 500! Commodore Amiga 500, was 5 TIMES SUPERIOR compared to their predecessor! It's an unmatched mark!!

  • I don't know what you are smoking. But could you please point us to where we may get some of that?

  • What's up kid? I don't smoke, do you? So... do you think i'm wrong, right? Prove it to me giving an example of the opposite that i just said ;)

  • @javimahai You've got info on the internet dude, don't you know how to search it ?

  • ^_^

  • I loved amiga but this look cheap, was this made with amiga 1000?

  • We're Back, and We're PISSED! I Luv it! I have an original Amiga 1200 at home!

  • @Drag0n2oooX Woot on the spoofs. I got a few amigas. 500, 1000 and a done up 2000...

FYI, despite the haters who obviously never used one and say never happened.... X1000 on the way! In beta now!

  • @kwkiller: x1000 is like $4000 and a limited production. Better off getting a powerpc g4 macmini and installing MorphOS or Arros on it.

kwkiller: Why is it such a bitch to upgrade my a1200 ? I need a NTSC monitor driver, a driver for the pcmcia ethernet card. How am I supposed to network when I can't even install the driver in the first place.

  • Hahaha cool

  • Amiga ruled , and everyone who owned one knows that, but I wonder if an Amiga today can still produce better quality cpu'S like it did back in the days?

  • Amiga needs to give up on the hardware aspect and go all software. Just get the OS ported to as many hardwares as possible (like Linux). The Amiga shined back in the day because of the hardware, but PC hardware is far too cheap today to try and re-invent that wheel. Time for Amiga to shed the hardware and go all software.

  • I agree, but I just don't think an Amiga OS without an Amiga computer would feel right.

What make the original great was the complimentary interaction between excellent hardware and excellent software.

  • WHAT???

    You don't know amiga?

It was a computer product line by commodore in the 80's

  • Correction... it was a product line started in 1984 by Commodore and was still very much alive when Commodore went bust in 1994. The last machine they made was the Amiga CD32 and I know they made the Amiga 600 in 1992... those are the only 2 Amiga's I currently own.

    &eB

  • Ahahaaa, what a great spoof! Long live Amiga

  • you obviously never owned an Amiga...

    First know, then talk.

  • I was kidding, you doofus. 9_9

  • good one:)

  • kewl, Japan loves Amiga!

  • lol

  • Wicked! Man, I had high-speed network file transfer action going on my Amigas, long before the PC could do it. I know, because I used to build and sell PCs back in the 80s and 90s. Check out the comparative UART speeds between an early 90s PC and any Amiga (even the one from 1985).

  • technically UART is the same in any platform. relatively slow anyways.

  • ahh good ol Amiga

  • Yeah!

  • Hahahaha!!

  • Now,in the "Clerks" and "Demolition Man" and "Warlock 3" days of the Early 90's, which computer do you think would give you better poontang, huh????

    ..........Amiga, of course!!!
