We come from the Imperial city of Kannauj in Northern India (Gangetic plain, U.P.). The Rromani culture was too high for Europeans, Europeans could not understand and accept it very often and we were often hated BUT NOT ALWAYS. There were spaces of real respect for Rromani culture and brotherly life between Rroms and Gaʒe.
Europeans are not all like Sarközi/Sarkozy/Szarközi... they tend to become like him, but the grace of Rromani culture is too strong and Europe is able to UNDERSTAND...

In theory, Gypsies came from India, where they escaped oppressive work conditions.
