Nice Collection buddy. Ime not in to audio Recorders but i have a lot of video ones not reel to reel tho tho ime after a sony to rip master tapes from.
sweet jeezus. I'm a woman and I completely understand. I'm absolutely jealous. Looking for a good valve reel to reel to use as a preamp for my synths and recordings.
What is your electric Bill run each month ?!? I know it is just for the viceo, no one would listen to more than reel machine playing at once'...........unless ??? mmmmm'
Hi I have a telefunken magnetophon m5 too. I see this mashine in this video but my mashine don't turn play and record. Do you have scheme to this mashine??.
Hello, sorry but I dont have the diagram for the M5 however I have found the capstan does lock up on it, open the recorder and turn the flywheel by hand, free it up a little then try again running the recorder in it's slowest speed first (Little like first gear in a car) give it a try and see what happens.
wow what a lot of reel to reel player's u have i only have 4 the akai gx-77 n the akai 1720l a grundig and an older 1 in the cuberd i dont use any more i would love to come down to ur house just to look round i would rely love it.
hello I was wondering if you could make a video of the 2 rarest and the 2 not so rarest reel to reel tape decks you have and if possible describe them I would be grateful and I luv those tape decks I have teac 1200 a and an akai ds-4000 mk11 and I think they are better then cassette as fare as sound . thank you and keep the great videos coming
I had up to 400 at one time but I think I am down to about 100 now, there are a few more on the way but with the house being so small, I need to sell some more.
I loved the BVH-2000 recorders but sadly the heads were short lived, I have a friend who wants to off load 4 onto me but I just don't have the space for them.
You are VERY fortunate to own SO MANY, COOOL recorders!!! Really! WHERE DO YOU GET ALL THOSE????????? WOWOW! SOO MANY! And all those pro portables! WHEW! WOW! You are very fortunate!
I have a reVox collection of abot 20 mascines and i thought that i was fool but now i think not to be alone!!!Congratulations for your collection!Kind regards.Michele.
Tapes? god knows how many I have of those, there are several boxes in my lockup, another load in the loft and loads around the house, I do admit though I have cut right back, having up to 6 of the same machine was too much.
A mix, PC, CD, DAT, DCC, Mic (Vocal and guitar), keyboard, another reel to reel, vinyl, cassettes, even the nicam VHS machine, for a try I have also recorded from U-matic, 1" type-C video recorders and oscillators. The only way you can tell what really sounds better in my book is a live recording with a good mic, CD -> R2R you are going to lose something but Mic to one of the big machines, it wins over digital in my personal opinion
