As a kid I thought this episode was really great and scary but now that I look at it again I realize it's total shit, there's no complexity, no subtly, no real plot, characterization or motivation. It just throws tired horror tropes are you like a howitzer and hopes something hits, it just panders. Everything is really hammy too and not in the amusing regular AYAOTD hammy but eben more hammy to the effect of being downright cartoonish. This episode is just a total mess.
