  • Oh, Craig, the whole monologue to talk about the Nobel prize for literature and you didn't even mention that Bob Dylan was nominated and lost (for the 7th time). I was waiting for an "ooooh" moment after he mentioned that little nugget of information, but alas it never occurred.

  • Geoff " I like Welsh poetry" - well colour me surprised lol

And they couldn't have got the sound of Welsh more right haha

  • I'll use a quill.

  • I'm only up to 3 minutes and I can't stop laughing!

  • ...turns out they needed a new recording with the evening audience from the same day (those for Friday evening show)

  • This is an alternative recording of the monologue, taped with the second audience on thursday. I was in the First recording (for thursday night Show). Craig made fun of the name of the poet Transtrømer and began singing the transformer theme using made up Swedish.

the producer michael mentioned during the brake that they might need to clear rights ("it is a pretty memorable theme song"). Craig refused to do the segmemt again and promised to not sing it anymore when michael will keep it in.

  • i got one in the chamber!

  • I prefer Craig's monologs without the robot. He is funnier on his own.

  • "I'm doing that thing with my eyes!" I think he's missing Kristen Bell like me!

Free of the suffocating turbulence the traveler

sinks toward the green zone of morning."
