Logitech Revue! worse piece of crap ever!!! When i bought i couldnt play videos from facebook...the flash neede upgrade yet their page said otherwise...one morning i had an upgrade and downloaded it...Now i cant access my netflix and my youtube account! I called customer service I spent one hour on the phone to be cut off line...called again and waited 45 minutes for nothing. Emails and live chats? Dont get any response either! BOOOO!!!!
Great VID as always!! I already got an appleTV 2 and was just about to buy the ROKU 2XS (convinced me with your last video) but NOW that the REVUE is at the same price i REALLY don't know what to do... I live in PERU - SOUTHAMERICA, what do u think i should get?
@naokrei It's a close call. If the Revue was still at $249, I'd say get the Roku. But with both devices at the same price ($99), I'd have to say that the Revue is a better value.
@TechHarvest really? I googled it a bit and found conflicting answers. I'd appreciate your research, if it does play content from directly connected storage media + files on local network storage, I'll get one too. Thanks

I just signed up for Dish Network and they offered me this, for $179. They were trying to rip me off LOL. Anyway I can't wait for your full review and to see it in action. Any idea when that will be? I just might have to pick one up. :-)
@iMactheIphone It should be up by early next week or so. At $99 it's a bargain and if you have a cable supplier that it works with, it's almost a no brainer.
@G0T3NKS29 Yes you can use it with or without a cable box. The difference being that you can't search cable content if it's not hooked up. You still get all the streaming and web browsing though.
If i get the Logitech Revue, do i need the Comcast DVR,And Cable box? OR just the cable box?

@Alexisbuenoo I'm not sure if Google TV works with Comcast. You can still use it without any cable TV set top box or DVR. I do.

Can you attach a usb drive with media files for it to play? Or can it pull media files from a network storage drive too? DLNA?
