Someone in your family has some old Atkins albums, this I'll bet money on because the sound here duplicates the sound found on many of Chet's albums for tonal quality. Great playing!! You've not only got the technical ability, you have a very smooth and delicate delivery. Thanks for the postings. Now go apologize to your parents for the whining you did along the way ;o)

Great. How many guitars do you have? I think I counted 3 Gretschs' and a flattop.

I have had about 35, the small and large CA Gretsch, 2 Super 400s, and every kind of Fender. Never satisfied. Now, I have one I like and am too dang old to play. It is the special Hallmark Deke Dickerson model. Hope you get the chance to test one out. Byran Browne has one I think.

The Vox sounds really nice. Thanks. A good acoustic amp would work great with the Taylor or amplified through direct through the  sound board with some Reverb.
