In my opinion:
Fallout 1 - Best story
Fallout 2 - Best gameplay
Fallout 3 - Best environments and graphics (NV basically recycles FO3's graphics engine)
Fallout 3 and Fallout : New Vegas are probably the most horrible games ever. And do you even have any idea when Fallout 1 was released?? I was released before you were born you inbred redneck. Honestly, go learn proper spelling you fat twat.
deathclaws were created my U.S. miltary before the war and were originally going to be used on special SnD missions that were deemed too dangerous for humans. Next, its story is much better then Fallout 3 and NV. The ONLY area FO3/NV wins in is graphics. Fallout 3/NV has good graphics and easy game play to please stupid people, who sadly, are the vast majority. Hard games that take effort to figure out and have good stories don't make as much $.

I can't complete the quest where u have to talk to zack and get weapons for the blades. I killed all the death claws but when I talk to gab again he still asks me if I killed th deathclaws yet and the only thing I can talk to zack about is buying
I got the trilogy with 1,2 and tactics on it. 1 plays great and I haven't played tactics. When I play number 2 it's extremely pixelated, its not the graphics, it has to be a glitch, has anyone else seen this or know how to fix it? I'm dying to play Fallout 2 but it's not playable like this.

so you have to go on the base use a radio to tell the mutants that there is a patrol beeing attacked by brotherhood to make some guards leave from the area

RIGHT click on your equipped weapon as pictured in the large center box on the game screen (not in inventory), and you should see a little yellow bulls-eye in the lower right corner of that same picture. When the bulls-eye is on, you will enter VATS when you put the red cross-hairs on an enemy, rather than just attack. NOTE: some weapons, like the sniper and the turbo plasma, will obscure that yellow bulls-eye look closely
@iscrewy Nope just make sure you haven't picked the fast shot perk, when on combat just right click on the weapon menu like he shows in the vid, it requires few extra AP though.
you know in fallout 2 you can get XP and equip' very fast too,

just go to san francisco's brotherhoods base, talk to matt and follow the quest, for extra XP .you can then go and give either the shi or the hubologists another copy of the plans

Fallout 3 introduced me to the fallout universe. After getting bored of running around and destroying all with my level 20 character I decided to go pick up one and two which was surprisingly easy to find. I have to say that while I enjoy both the Bethesda fallouts and the Interplay fallouts I kind of wish bethesda hadn't gotten ahold of the franchise. It's not that 3 and new Vegas weren't fun, it's just that their atmosphere wasn't the same. Not to mention the endless bugs with bethesda

the game is good, not like F1 or 2 much but has it's own sense of gameplay.
(watch out for behemoth robots, don't get into fight with them, even with the best equips their acid shot is devastating i tended to get far enough and use snipers on those things )

Fallout 3 left in some shitty references but failed to actually connect the to games and make a good story. Fun game but otherwise mongoloid in terms of connecting with the already produced fallout games. New Vegas pretty much did the same thing. However it connected the story much better, not that it mattered as it was literally a full price dlc for fallout 3 and added nothing new in terms of game play.

@dekaron12 To get VATS you have to press the weapon picture in the middle of the underside. From there you can use what shooting mode you use, like bursts or singleshot and if you want to aim or just shoot without aiming. If you use aim, there will be a crosshair in that weapon picture. Im not sure if you can reload weapon from that too, but experience with it and im sure you figure it out how it works. In Fo2 it also gives you special attacks in Unarmed fighting when you have enough skill.

Fallout 3 left in some shitty references but failed to actually connect the to games and make a good story. Fun game but otherwise mongoloid in terms of connecting with the already produced fallout games. New Vegas pretty much did the same thing. However it connected the story much better, not that it mattered as it was literally a full price dlc for fallout 3 and added nothing new in terms of game play.

@TheAlphaView Obviously you didnt understand his point. Fo1 & 2 had really violent world where you were always thinking your actions. Fo3 was just filled with cannonfodder and you didnt give a shit because they were just annoying. When walking from A - B there were raiders, monsters etc, and you killed them, looted them and arrived to B to sell their stuff. Fo1 & 2 had more realistic world where _people or you_ die, when in Fo3 its just big playground where no one really hurts.

@dekaron12 To get VATS you have to press the weapon picture in the middle of the underside. From there you can use what shooting mode you use, like bursts or singleshot and if you want to aim or just shoot without aiming. If you use aim, there will be a crosshair in that weapon picture. Im not sure if you can reload weapon from that too, but experience with it and im sure you figure it out how it works. In Fo2 it also gives you special attacks in Unarmed fighting when you have enough skill.
