Hockey is as popular in Vancouver as it is in Boston. Why? Because theres a market for the game in both places meaning it makes the owners and the league MONEY. It has nothing to do with Canadian or American.

USA has more people, more cities, it only makes sense they would have more teams.

Now when it comes to which country has more of a passion for the sport, thats debatable. I obviously say Canada, because we take it more seriously up here then most Americans.

I live in Boston and I am a huge Bruins fan... Carcillo has a lot of heart and that kid never gives up. He fights people double his size. People forget that hockey is just as much about being physical as it is about scoring. Give the kid some credit. If i was a flyers fan i would be pumped about him playing for my team.
