Mario 64 DaedalusX64 Beta 2

Hey i have an emulator and roms and everything but why does my game/rom (super mario 64) won't save any files. Whenever i play i can saved the game but when i go back again to playing that course/file i have to start from the beginning its quite a hassle. is this normal?

It takes a long just to load up the rom, and then it shows a blank screen. Still on, but blank.

ok i get to daedalus 64 on the xmb, start it but when i play a game, it just stays frozen at the recovery mode screen. What do i do?

It says that it's corrupted data, what should I do to fix that?

@Robin16171718 first open up psp folder/psp/game and thats where your emulator should go... I think then open another folder called roms and thats where your roms should go i hope this works. I know it looks hard or it seems hard but i tried it a million times and untill i got it a couple of weeks ago several past months but i hope i fixed your problem. Guess what my pro. is that my rom (Super Mario 64) won't save thats my prob. now. i also have Super Smahs Bros, and Banjoo Kazooie

It's funny that Daedalus emulates MIPS even though the PSP is a MIPS machine. Why hasn't anybody tried to just execute the N64 games' code on the PSP's processor? I would imagine games would run more than full screen. TLB might be an issue, though.

You need modded firmware to use this. That's why you can't start daedalus.

This is why I have been wanting to switch over to the PSP for emulation purposes. God damn, those speeds are pretty sweet! I hope these speeds carry through for most games.

I have a hacked fatty, and it does work, the sound is offputting, but HEY IT"S A MARIO! Starfox 64 works too, so did both Zeldas' HOWEVER I can't seem to get Pokemon Stadium, Goldeneye, and many others to run....Is Daedalus64 the best out there currently?

i know its kinda dissappointing, if u wanna play with the udio, i suggest frameskip at 3, but its till not perfect quality, you should expect an almost perfect emulator probably by the beta 4, even beta 3 will have significant imporvements :)

It's hard to believe... just a few years back daedalus r14 was out and utterly terrible from what I've heard. In any case, this runs the game 10 times better than my PC. I have such an old computer I need the special TROpenGL plugin for Project64 to run anything, and then it's slow and most games won't work, like Yoshi's Story, which just has Yoshi on a black background in gameplay. So this is a blessing.
