hanamuke means a farewell gift but hanamuke is usually given with words. we always say "hanamuke no kotoba".. so for example, it can be used as when a daughter is getting married and leaving their parents, so her parents gave her a farewell gift by some words. for this song, the farewell gift is words through songs. the farewell gift are words that are written as lyrics and transform into a song.

~that's how my friend explained to me what hanamuke was.
