@WeslieJJ94 I am not 100% sure but I think that the only difference is that the 22 has duble cutaway and the 20 has single cutaway wich is the shape of the guitar at it's neck.
@aryowailangitoyo97 Almost. George had a Gretsch G6122 and this is the G5122. The G6122 is more than twice the price but also a little bit more efort put on it when they made it.
One thing I like about Gretsch Guitars is that they have thin frets. Love to have these thin frets on 58' Les Paul Standard. Would have the feel of fretlessness.
@TheThebeatles1994 , i can get close tones with pickup changer switch set so that the neck and middle pickups are playing. through marshal amp with slight reverb and distortion
excellent :) a reli nice job of this brilliant song. one question tho, im thinkin of gettin the Gretsch G5122DC like yours, but cant decide between it and an Epiphone Casino, what do u reckon?
Some of the single notes are questionable...but kudos to you for learning this. Few realize how much overdubbing of guitar the Beatles did, even with just 2 and 4 track equipment. I'm still trying to figure out how Lennon got that 'quacky' sound when he hit the B7 chord. He must have been beating the crap out of the strings...
You nailed it again and this time I like the personal touches you put in. You're just too damn good. You have a bright future ahead of you as a musician....if you're not already playing professionally. You look young (I wish I were your age again, trust me) but have great talent and a great "feel" for those songs that you can't learn from someone else. You put your heart and soul into them and truly make them your own. Keep it up...can't get enough of your stuff!!!!
You know what? I see so many who make negative comments about playing a simple song as this and its rediculous. Im not a great guitar player, playing nearly 20 years and only open chords not really learning to bar. But my point is that every cover of this song is played differently from which fret to bar to this string or that string and they all sound okay.
In the intro.. you aren't playing a D. I don't know what chord you think it is. But it is not a D. Your backing track is right, but whatever you're playing in the video for that part, you're wrong. It doesn't even sound right.
I've removed the comments posted here. I felt they weren't constructive in any way at all ever. ESPECIALLY seeing as the individual in question had posted none of his own material to speak of.
Thanks. I'm afraid it's not a country gent although I'd love it if it were. It's a newer model, a G5122 double cutaway. One of the reasons I bought it is because it resembles the Country Gent so closely.
With respect, I can assure you that here I've used the right chords. Both of the chords that you say are wrong are C and D. They're most definitely C and D in the intro and chorus.
My references to this being the track itself, the complete Beatles scores and the official chord songbook. Plus it sounds right.
Haha! I do show my face in a couple of videos (I feel fine and the shadows cover I did...). I just think it's a bit better to see what my hands are doing, rather than seeing what my face is doing :-)
I'm using a program called drumsite. I imported a guitar pro MIDI file in as the drums and bass to that program and saved it as a wav. I played over it.
Sorry, I don't have any tabs. I can say that the rhythm is a pretty standard "shuffle" around G D Em then B7 for the verses. For the chorus play barred C, D, G then open Em then C,D and back to the verse chords. The middle is Dm, G, C, Am twice. Hope that helps a little bit. Can't really advise on the lead.
great cover! where did you get the tabs.. i get some tabs but i want yours! if you dont mind! thanks!! man :)

notsafeforwork120 3 years ago
is it free or i have to pay anhthing?
kankanlovers3 3 years ago
You can get a free demo. Look it up on google. If you try hard enough I'm sure you could get it free.
notsafeforwork120 3 years ago
one last question after that im not gonna disturb you
is that software hard to use ???
kankanlovers3 3 years ago
Hmm, I don't really "use" it per sey. I just import MIDI files in and save it as a wav, and that's all easy. I do all of my editing in guitar pro.

DUDE I NEED YOUR HELP ASAP
i have the exact same guitar
1. what strings do u use?
2. do they have a special gauge? for the bisgby?
3. are they speciall strings? i need to change mine so if you could reply ASAP that would be great thanks dude!
camerooniepooniepoo 3 years ago
I'm glad you've got the same guitar, it's excellent.
1. Elixir Nanoweb strings .10 guage
2. They're standard .10-.46 strings. Nothing special for the bigsby. Same strings I use on my strat and telecaster.
3. Again, nothing special. They have some kind of coating on them so they stay sounding better and last longer.
