Interesting technique. I agree that it seems like a bit much to go through when other buttonhole techniques are simpler. But I'm still going to try it out =) Thanks for sharing something new!

Just took a few minutes to try this out. I love it! It is a bit of extra work, but it makes your buttonholes (or at least mine =P ) more crisp and eliminates a lot of the holes created from the average buttonhole technique's reinforcing stitches.
