the biggest mystery I want to solve out of Tyler Bates himself is his date of birth. What is his date of birth? Anyone with information is required to respond to my comment. Thank you!
I've heard 300 soundtracks a lot of times, can someone please tell me how does he do all those sound and music effects? I'm slowly entering the film music industry and I'm thirsty for knowledge. The sounds and music he creates are way too professional. Skipping the Musical knowledge, I'm talking about the technical and professional qualities of his works. There is a lot of mixing in today's music for films.
@Arkio89 Firstly, he ripped off most of the music from Titus by Elliot Goldenthal, Troy by James Horner and Gabriel Yared, works of Paul Haslinger (the sound effects bits) and a Macedonian folk song. I don't blame you. A newcomer in film music can be tricked into thinking 300 was awesome, until he learns otherwise.
@Arkio89@Arkio89 Tyler is a badass in the studio, there are a couple of videos out there (google them) where he talks a bout how he comes up with creative sound scapes and ideas. He sometimes uses this Violin / guitar hybrid with a bow going through a bunch of effect pedals. Then creates these loops and leaves them running, turns off his amps then goes to sleep and comes back the next day. I was totally inspired by it
He didn't tell why he used bits of the 28 days later theme in the Doomsday music >> it's not really a 80's movie :/ unless the theme from that movie was based ona 80's theme movie o.o
@Twilightmia Well from what I can tell, he likes to copy other people's work and claim it his own. I think that's called plagiarism, and I think he was threatend with a little trip to the courts because of it.
THIS IS THE STUPIDEST THING EVER. BUT I LOVE MY MOM SO I AM NOT TAKING ANY CHANCES.If you don't copy and paste this onto 10 videos your mom will die in 4 hours

Tyler Bates I am sorry to say but the soundtracks you do are mostly copies of someone elses work. I think you should at least give credit to some of these artists you steal from. These directors should be shameful for hiding composers such as Tyler Bates!
I think Tylers work is great and he is actually a player that comes from playing in bands, not like a lot of film composers that have classical back grounds.
As far as stealing? They all copy each other in Hollywood for the most part, there's always a "sound" that's hot at the moment, like the Hans Zimer sound that a lot of movies have, I don't think that's a bad thing.
@lando8872 I agree with you Lando , I also used to know Tyler back in the day when we he was playing in his band around chicago and I was working for the clubs as well as the sound an lighting companies. Tyler has always been a talented musician and he has gone on doing what he loves...
As for Euphony , he is the phoney, I looked at his profile he has one friend but has made negative comments about many different film soundtracks. k have no clue why he has a thing against composers but he does.
Just love Keanu Reeves and your soundtrack out today on iTunes is awesome. Can't believe it is so inexpensive and has 28 awesome tracks. Love The Military Approach and many others. I will tell all the Keanu fans to download.
