New the natural care, and I am still transitioning, however my little girl is mixed and has natural hair but with a thick curly and sometimes frizzy texture. I would like it to look like yours someday. I am not sure how you wash your hair; do you wash it while separated like that? If so, how do you ensure that you rinse well? My auntie had hair long like this, she could actually sit on it, and she always ask us to braid it for her, I really hated braiding her hair, it was beautiful and long but damn, it seem like it took damn near an hour to make one braid and I wanted 2 play lol. The day I can tie my own hair will be a very glorious day indeed. But knowing me, I'd probably do something stupid like accidentally tie it into a knot and have to cut it off. I wash my hair like this too except i do 6 sections. I don't do even parts though and that could be why my hair snags sometimes. Maybe I'll try doing even parts and compare. Good vid as always.

my hair is so fragile. It breaks really easily. Trying to get ALL of my hair to an even length and to get it longer is proving to be an impossible task.

I have been natural since the fall of 2007. My hair is shoulder length stretched.

I am also a vegetarian. Do you know anything about protein deficiencies making hair really fragile?

I just became a vegetarian and I have to plan out my meals for the day and meticulously keep track of my protein intake to make sure I get enough whether it is through protein shakes or lentils...protein deficiency can cause weak brittle hair, and sometimes hair loss because your hair is made of protein...hope this helps.
