Final Cut Pro - Pleasantville Effect

Can anyone tell me why when I do the steps it does not change in the canvas, its highlighted, and the exact steps were followed. Shot on a 7D, and it could be because i have a Intel CD2 but it doesnt seem to be working for me even after render, any suggestion?

How would i make two colors stick out in the same clip? I know how to do this effect, but lets say i want red, and blue to stick out in the same shot, would i just do two of the same videos with one blue and one red, and put it overlaying each other? Please i need help with my film, Thanks!

I was wondering if you know how to create the same affect that Canon uses in their commercial that shows the football player catching the football while the rest of the background stays still and then the foreground and background mesh soon afterwards. The other affect is the child in the back seat of the car with the window open. His hair than moves but everything freezes momentarily until again the foreground and bacground mesh completing the scene. Any ideas?

hey theres a way to only get the certian color you want with out working with the rest try using a mask effect ok a four point mask.
