It is free though. And you can do what ever you want to it. According to an Apple Store manager i talked too, OS X is basically a closed down version of Linux but its unix instead which makes OSX different. Linux Eternity is awesome dude. You can put iLife on it and Windows stuff. Its great. Windows 7 ftw Snow leopard ftw too!

Linux really isn't that good. Mac is its own OS, and in my opinion, I like it as I like Windows.

i had an ibook g4 with an 800mhz processor. it was surprisingly fast. now after 6 months, i have the new macbook. it is incredible. i will never buy a PC again. my brother has a powerbook g4.

I have a PowerBook G4. It has a 1.5 ghz G4 processor, 512 ram, 80 gig hard drive, and 10.4.11 Tiger and a broken combo drive :/ I hate the old version of the slot load drives in these things. I'm getting a super drive though.
