There were quite a few issues for me with this game, but it's still loads of fun to play... I liked being able to place buildings rather than just zone so I hope they develop this further for the next one in the series.

I only play Sim city 4, that was the best sim city game ever. I can't understand why they have abandonned this type of gameplay. But all the spinoffs afther simcity4 even the monte cristo games where complete failures to me.

and took out many integral parts of the game. also, its so much less realistic

simcity as we know it is gone 4ever T_T

You did a pretty good job. how about i give you two cheats. 1st, Eureka( unlocks all buildings.) and 2nd, Reward all(unlocks all rewarded buildings). agian good job. i love this game!

@Zurzang A lot of people said the very same thing with this game's predecessor SIMTown. Just because the gameplay elements were tweaked a bit it doesn't mean the game franchise was ruined. In fact I see this game as SIMCITY to the next level, which is you not only zoning areas of your city, but you actually deciding what building/s go into your sities per se.

The fact that you need those points in order for buildings to function made your city look like this freakish thing filled with ridiculous amounts of chess tables and stuff....They tried to be innovative, but only took a fantastic brand and destroyed it.

I'm sorry to say it but this game was the biggest disappointment I've ever had in a PC game, it just truly sucks, and is a disgrace to the Sim City Name.

(It's more like a remake of the childrens game Sim Town, that also sucked)
