Plasma pistols takes off your enemy shields E.G. using a full charge plasma pistol shoot it at a brute , the brute armor comes off and finsh him off with a silent pistol (headshot). To be honest, Legendary on any of the Halo games is fairly easy. Except Halo CE. Legendary on that game was deserving of being called Legendary, it was hard as FUCK. Especially Library. To get to each checkpoint was in and of itself an achievement.
