I saw this show on the night that Larry Grossman came to see it and held court in the bar afterwards, a night not to be forgotten. He felt their Woodstock was amongst the best EVER. He mentioned a song that was written for the show, but not used, for Schroeder. They dropped it when they realised he normally sits at his piano, not the most dynamic character, so dropped him completely. The song wasn't wasted, as fans of the Muppets might recognise it. Search for "Eight little notes" on youtube.
From my research, Snoopy!!! The Musical was orgianally in San Fran, then moved to Off-Broadway in 1978, and then opened West End (London) 1985, and 1988 Charles Schulz made an animated speciel for it. But I don't know what production did this partiular performence.
@broadwaydude2378 It was a small production at the New Players Theatre in London. I was lucky enough to see it, and it was one of the best things I've seen on the London stage. So much energy, it put the big-money West End shows to shame. I'd love to get hold of this recording.
This is an odd number. Usually music based off of Peanuts is upbeat and uplifting, but this almost a dark song. Yes, I realize it is supposed to give the feel of the suffering girls. But I just fin the composition of this song "Stephen-Schwartz-like."

It's such a shame that the video and audio don't sync up on this. But it's still fantastic! I wish I could have seen this production in person.
