One unusual thing about her is that she used to have a pet lion. Yes, a real one; she was photographed with it in a magazine article. So it's a bit fitting that a puppet lion is greeting her in this video.

I still get chills up my spine in that opening scene in JAWS...I don't think Susan really got the credit she deserved for her performance!!

she is a wonderfull lady and a great stunt women....she was 28 years old when she did jaws shes 64 now...she was also in a movie called grizzlie which of coarse was done in the same format as jaws and of coarse she was eatin in that flick too...also in the movie 1941 she parodies her character in jaws and winds up on the mast of a japanese sub...butt naked....which was the only good part in that goofy movie.

Her performance in Jaws was and is a seminal one. Its such a beautiful, poetic and ultimately horrific screen moment. Pure classic. I thinks its tragic that she never went further with her career, because it was a spectacular debut. She was a stunt woman originally, hard to believe that with her beauty she didn't secure more roles ..
