  • Normally I can't stand gospel music, but when it comes to Gaither's band I actually enjoy it, which is a pleasant surprise.

  • The faith represented here is a load of dung. However, this is one of the best songs, ever.

  • That is the Kenny Hinson family. Kenny had recently passed away with prostate cancer. Later in the vdieo, Vestal sings Lighthouse to them and tosses a handkerchief to the mom.

  • Who was the family that the camera went to in the front?

  • Being unfamiliar with gospel music, I first heard this sung by Ray Stevens and thought it was a joke. Later I found out it was for real and discovered these terrific performances--just love it! Thanks for posting.

  • @MrTrashcan1 Get familiar with gospel....you'll love it. It keeps me alive and happy. Gaither is the best....perfect harmony, great songs and humor to boot.

  • @MrTrashcan1: I first heard the song by Ray Stevens as well...but I didn't think it was a joke as I'm familiar with both the serious and comical sides of Ray. His 1972 recording sounded incredible much like this performance does. I don't believe there's ever been a wrong way to perform this song no matter who sings it.
