  • Hello CharronFamily, You won't find a GPX4500 or something in that range for under about $3,000 used right now. That being said, you might consider a used SD or GP series, which you might find for about $2,000. Any Minelab PI is going to give you a huge advantage over the conventional VLF detectors in my opinion.

  • how much for Minelab GPX-4500 Metal Detector ? Is there any detectors that are comparable for <$2000?

  • Hello All, This spot is located in Central Arizona.

  • kinda curious on the area you were hunting. Not exact location, just wondering why the ground was all loose already? was it a club push?

  • Do you recomend buying the minelab GPX-4500??

  • @odee900 I only recommend purcashing a GPX-4500 if you're serious about hunting for gold. The GPX-4500 is now $4,750.00, so it's a big investment unless you're going to spend the time and research. If you're going to do this, the GPX-4500 will eventually pay for itself.
