  • You dont need signs to tell tha you have entered belgium from Holland, the road surface gives it all away !! horrific road surfaces, on a motorbike real care has to be taken for pot-holes and 'platforms' formed by the trucks. Always glad to get out of belgium (Love the country, its flemish people, beer and waffles !)

  • How do you know where the border is I did'nt see you stop at a check point. I am crossing from Belgium into Holland in a few days. I googled the border crossing from Belgium into Holland and this was number one....LOL

  • Hey, there are no road check points between Belgium and The Netherlands, you just know you have crossed over, by a blue sign, with yellow stars, either, Belgie or Nederland.

  • I know I just got back. What a great place is Belguim and Holland. The French can kiss my arse. So rude. Unbelievably rude. They need lessons in manners from the Belgian and Dutch people. I cut my visit to France short from four days to one. I will never go back to France. Ever. Unbelievable attitude on those people. I am going back to Belgium and Holland soon. Can't wait actually...

  • Hahaha... "arse"

    That's the fun way.

    :D

  • @maggiethefox, it is not Holland but the Netherlands. There are a lot of people outside the provinces of North and South Holland who don't want to be called Holland!

  • in europe the borders are open. when you look too the right at 0:10 you see a bleu sign saying Belgium

  • There are NO checkpoints within the Schengen zone. It's one open space.

If you happen to mis the sign you will notice the difference of driving in another country anyway.

  • There's no check points in Europe, lawl

  • Eerst kom je het bord van België tegen, dan het bord van Vlaanderen. Dat zegt al veel over hoe Vlaanderen tegenover België staat.

  • where u from???

  • eine verschwendung, die autobahnen in belgien auch nachts zu beleuchten

  • So what, it has always been that way.

  • But it is a waste of good money. I think that the majority of the street lamps can be removed. Only at road junctions are they of any use. For the remaining stretches of motorway so called "cats eyes" can be used.

It would be a lot cheaper for Flanders, more environmentally conscious and more healthy for those that live in the direct vicinity of the motorways. At least they can get a good night of sleep. It is actually safer too because it forces drivers to pay more attention.

  • I agree most lights one motorways are a waste of money however I don't want to change lanes when its rainy and there are slippery and bumpy cats eye's between the lanes though, rather have some reflective lines, if conditions are so bad you can't see them, you're driving to fast anyway.

(It's even more economical and environmental friendly)

  • und wo ist die grenze ich sehe da keine grenze komisch hier in den usa kann man über die europäischen grenzen einfach nur lachen das soll ne grenze sein?

die grenze zwischen mexiko und den usa das nenne ich ne grenze

  • In europe there ain't no borders no more. These were borders once. But since europe is a union now there is no need for border control. Its also much more pratical, going from one country to another you notice hardly something.

  • Drievoudige ontkenning in je zin.

  • Thats what lights are for, to light roads at night

  • But they're not necessary on certain roads, like on a motorway. In Germany, they're are necessary inside a town, but outside of a town, you don't need them at all, for that you have the "Leitpfosten", special bars with a reflective stripe which shows where the edge of the road is.

  • In belgium we need them everywhere

  • Cool video, sound track is also very good (again) :)

  • Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed ^^
