Before I ask, can i get a mature answer from someone without being spammed with "noob".
Ok so what is Final Fantasy versus XIII? and does it have any association with FFXIII other than the universe? I've asked many of my friends that are die hard fans and never seem to get a straight answer.
@DRAKESTER008 As far as I am aware, FF Versus XIII is set in the same universe but is otherwise completely unaffiliated with the other FFXIII games. DIfferent time, different, planet, different story.
Square Enix never should have switched to ATB, but stay at turned based.. the game story line was awesome, the character aswell, and still enjoyed playing it, it's only now it's press X, and sometimes switch roles, and press X again. If they switch back to Turn Based ya can controll a fight again. and plan better...
@NDBNTZ im not hatin' i love FF games, got 7 till XIII, and enjoyed all.. just saying i dont like the ATB system.. also this game will come in my collection.. either with or without ATB

@Kris95x i realize this. i honestly wish that could happen though. my main party through the game was the girls. the guys were decent but they werent as good if you noticed. hope was to weak snows attack wasnt as high and sazhs attack and magic was based on his weapons so he wasnt amazing either

@xXFinalEntryXx I agree with what you're saying, but Hope has the highest magic in the game, and by the end he can even have the highest attack of all other characters. Although Snow has low attack, he has the highest HP in the game making him perfect as a sentinel. I do agree that Sazh wasn't that great.
@Creeperstache3 well hope in the early game is to weak to give him anything to buff his magic so you pretty much have to give him bangles. while you can give the other characters things to buff them up and make them stronger

I would say yes,its the secound part of 13 so,i hope that Snow,Serah,Sazh and Hope come back,FF13 was so awesome with them!!I now that Vanille and Fang will come back for sure,coz Lights mission is to help them get out of their cristale status

@Panffles well yeah, the ending of FFXIII hinted that people of Pulse could have survived all these years after the war of Gran Pulse, and that Lightning could have traveled in time when she walked into the darkness/void, since she felt like years were passing by in an instant. this is what i'm hoping, that Lightning meets up with everyone and they're all grown up (Lightning+Hope LOL!).. in any case, EW, i dont like the english dub =p undubbed version w/ eng menus all the way ;)

Didn't anyone notice this second FFXIII is retracing steps back to the old FF games? No, not 7, or above. Its the old times where running around a field made sense and nothing futureistic (exept airships)

I agree that was a bad argument XD it was fallacious (yay for big words? XD) and pretty generalized to the younger public that plays Final Fantasy 13 and didnt really play any of the others.
How ever a lot of what people complained about was omfg there is no exploring to be done its jsut a crawler ect ect no npc interaction blah blah complain. When there was exploring..
and there was npc interaction just not what people were accustomed to, running around gran pulse was a pretty large place, not as large as other ff worlds but still pretty large, and all of the cieth stones and vanilles robot, im pretty sure those fall into the npc catigory ( correct me if i am wrong ). hopefully this is a better argument? :D

Not to mention how they're re-releasing FFXI and slapping a XIV on it, effectively destroying what could have been a PROPER FFXIV.

okay i think lightning became a knight of etro after falling into a different dimension that's pretty different from her own. etro is probably the only one who can turn a person back to normal after being in crystal stasis :D oh and the purple guy is totally awesome too! He's like a rival, but with benefits heh heh

and there was npc interaction just not what people were accustomed to, running around gran pulse was a pretty large place, not as large as other ff worlds but still pretty large, and all of the cieth stones and vanilles robot, im pretty sure those fall into the npc catigory ( correct me if i am wrong ). hopefully this is a better argument? :D

@RaitChannel That would be kind of FFVIII... and I don't really know I'd like it. Actually, I expect something with a LOT of extras, like in FFX, a cool argument, and the same graphics that the last one had, that's how the perfect FF looks to me.
