Revelation 3:10, Luke 21:36, Isaiah 35:4, I Thessalonians 4:13-18, I Thessalonians 5:1-11, Jeremiah 17:5-18, John 12:44-50, John 14:1-5, John 17:15-19, II Thessalonians 1:7-10, & II Thessalonians 2:1-17 are scriptures assuring believers (brethren) of God's divine protection. WE R CHILDREN OF LIGHT, we do NOT suffer same punishment as wicked of darkness.

The Catholic church has always been a little off of what the Bible really teaches. Them going a different way is what they usually do and what seems likely to happen for someone to deceive the masses (no pun intended), it seems like he would have to have some sort of common ground before changing.

Oh, my! The "silent, secret, rapture" doctrine is definitely popular but the question needs to be, "Is it Biblical?"

And the clear answer is: No it isn't.

The return of Christ Jesus will be audible, glorious, visible, and above all, end all earthly time. This doctrine of being whisked away before the time of trouble is a Jesuit invention meant to deflect the light of Bible prophecy that the papal system is the antichrist. It is well that each and every Christian examine this doctrine closely.

@NowYouSeeTV - Where does it say that Jesus returns twice, once silently and the other visibly? Now, just because you "think" something is Biblical doesn't make it so. Jesus pleads with our heavenly Father not to take His children out of the world but to protect them from evil in John 17:5. That should be a hint, along with John 16:33 that Christian's will suffer persecution. Now if Jesus did, and we are promised we will too, is it  this teaching that Christian's will be whisked away even true?

If the rapture "is the calling up of the saints" why are the graves opened and the dead resurrected from their sleep? That sounds exactly like the second coming and not some secret, mysterious event.

The saved were 'left behind' the wicked were taken. Jesus says it will be the same when He returns. See verse 37! The wicked will be taken. The Ark is Jesus!

The problem with people trying to help other people understand truth is, one everyone thinks their right and have the key on truth, everyone has tried to convince us of every doctrine available already, 3rd the bible says let no man teach you but let the Holy Spirit guide you. By all means check the scriptures and diligently search them. But at the same time you have to recognize that there is only "one" truth. An orange and an apple aren't the same thing. One can't call an apple an orange and say this is true.

Likewise the silent secret rapture doctrine was invented by Jesuits to throw Protestants off the trail that papal Rome system was the antichrist. It isn't truth.

Are raptured people "saved" and the rest are "done for" or does the rapture serve a purpose (and that is not necessarily given to all who are "saved through Jesus").

Is it like a lesson to all the atheists that go like "I wonder what the world would be like without Christians" and God says "Ok then." Who knows :O?

You know hundreds, or thousand of people go missing each year. Some people might not even relize The Rapture even happend. Untill much latter, how many people belive they are saved and are not? How many would be raptured per State in the US? Would we even know, or just flip on buy on the TV Button, O' it's just another missing kid, kidnapping, drunkard, ect. Think about it, God said it would happen at such a time we know not. Maybe in a Time of Confustion, and we are caught off guard. Watch!!!!
