I have to say I'm a fan of the bottom floors as well, and I'm totally down with the Ramen Museum. You've made my girlfriend and I want to visit there, and.... maybe we'll go make some ramen now!
It was really cool how they seemed to fit a whole village in the muesum, how great would it be to work there (all the free Ramen you could wish for, thats my dream!!)
There's a ton of nostalgia attached to the whole ramen culture in Japan. There was a time when ramen was more commonly known as "shina soba" meaning, "Chinese noodles" denoting its place of origin. There also used to be "ramen vendors" making their rounds in many neighborhoods at night pulling a cart and selling the noodles and soup by the bowl. They were a usual sight when I was a little boy growing up in Tokyo some 30+ years ago. I can still smell the hot ramen soup wafing from the cart..
I think it would've been funny if they were to ever put up a statue of Ramenman from Kinnikuman, I know he's Chinese but that is where ramen came from.
Also, funny part when you mentioned Moguera from The Mysterians.
hello tokyo swan i just startes to watch your video's and i must say the are pretty good, well not like tokyo cooney's but really good.I have a question about your classes, are you in school learning japanese only?pls respond
yeah i'm in school here learning just japanese, that's all i did last semester, although this coming one i might have a few cultural classes taught in english as well.
thanks for the kind words on the video. TokyoCooney is obviously a big influence of mine, so if my videos were half as good I'd be happy. These early ones seem like my baby pictures, they do get much better haha.
That basement was a recreation of the ramen cultre of Japan during the Showa Era. It's very nostalgic for many Japanese who have fond memories of that era. The wrestling match and movie poster were just there to add to the atmosphere.
Ahh yeah, I will probably do a video like that sometime. Let's see, the japanese classes here are much faster compared to the ones back home. About 4 and half hours a day, 5 days a week, and there's a load of homework. It's certainly demanding, but I'm sure will improve the japanese of anyone who strives to take them. Thanks for the comment and subscription!

This one was pretty short compared to the other two.
As much as I love ramen...that's a little bit too much ramen for me.
A raman disney world...that sounds very interesting.

You said boxing, but it looks more like wrestling to me.
