  • Holidays are coming.... pulling Mr. Sainsbury, how sweet lol

  • JRBriggs68....this one is not a detroit diesel...is a caterpillar

  • I haven't heard a Detroit Diesel in years!!! Thanks for the memories!

  • American muscle

  • thats a 22 wheeler

  • IVECO = Italian crap

  • This is Kenny with a Cat Engine

  • looks like pure american pulling japan junk

  • Nice audio, love the turbo. Nothin quite like the sound of a turbo winding up on a KW, they are very audible and pull like a mule. I was stepping into one of our KW's on a city street with an empty trailer one day and a bmw had to floor it to pass beside me, I don't think he could believe how fast my acceleration was...lol

  • Kenworth baby(:

  • LOL! And I wanna say exactly -LOL!! And for completing impressive vid, THAT sound... Man, oh, man!!

  • nice sound

  • a prime can do anything.

  • Sounds like a Detroit Diesel

  • @RiverGhost007 thats how its always gonna be. tose brit pos's cant do what our big boy trucks can

  • haha paccar may own kennys and petes but look who towed out who! ;) no disrespect meant btw

  • holy fucking shit what a turbo on that bad ass.

  • Всегда кока кола!

  • Hah an American truck in England.

  • Haha an American truck pulling a toy ! Of course.

  • That's Mr. Truck dragging Mrs. Truck out off a male strip club

  • @Prinzomniac the things biodiesel can make a truck do...

  • Normal workin day for Lisa Kelly!!!!

  • were was this mick gould is next door to me in flimwell east sussex on kent border???

  • optimus prime

  • It sounded like a Detroit.

  • Pure Music to my ears ^-.-^

  • Your right LOVE THAT SOUND!!!!!

  • It took a KW to haul that piece of crap out of the snow. Lol

  • thumbs up video great sound

  • i find this easy to masturbate to

  • way to melt the snow with all that emission HAHA

  • fucking european trucks ! American is the Best!

  • @Bosko243 HA! it aint a "european" truck-its an iveco,i.e FORD,which 2 my knowledge is american.lol.

  • @rossiwilton

    Weell ... actually ..

You see, Iveco was founded by Fiat by merging a bunch of other truck departments that Fiat had picked up over the years. And it is still owned by Fiat Industrial.

So, where's the Ford connection then ?

Well, Iveco bought up Ford's european truck division in 1986, and sells their trucks as Iveco-Ford in the states, to generate more revenue by using a known nameplate.

But it's still a truck developed by europeans and owned by Fiat.

  • @Jesus45U I salute your knowledge !

  • @rossiwilton

    I salute Google ! :D

Also, I salute the mountains of northern scandinavia, they're the real reason for why the scandinavian truck companies are so gungho about more power !

Here's a nice example of some norwegian ones :

    /watch?v=HQGfUaWib8Q

Also, I suspect that the volvo's lead in horsepower will be relatively shortlived, Scania is working on developing a truck named R800 ... guess how much power people think it will have ? :)

  • Out of all Lorry's a f***ing Sainsbury's lorry....... xD

  • I once screwed up on the Calgary to Pavilion run hauling a load of bunker fuel in a Super B and didn't get up enough speed to make it up one hill (totally my fault) Had a logging truck(It was a Western Star tractor) come along and he kindly pulled me up. (He wouldn't take shit for his troubles). Totally destroyed my chains though and embarrassed the hell out of me.

  • WTF i wanted to see destruction!!! truck! loose yourself and roll down the hill!!!!!

  • OOH YEA AMERICAN MUSCLE COMMIN THRU XD

  • @piffsterr2

Heh, unfortunately, the american power doesn't count for much in this video, since it's all about the traction. If the regular truck had enough traction, it would not have needed the wrecker to help it out.

Power counts for nothing if you don't have traction.

  • @Jesus45U The power might not count but the ole pete sounded a lot better coming up the hill than the european one did. Its all about sound anyways.

  • @FF4X4

I agree, it sounded very nice.

Though I have one little caveat ... most standard euro trucks have very strict noise emission standards. And if I lived by a road with a lot of heavy trucks going by, I would rather they sounded less like the Peterbilt and more like the euro truck.

One thing is to watch them on youtube, another to have them run by your window all the time. :D

  • @Jesus45U right... but do you know the tonnage of the scania cab and that kitty kat under the hood of the kenworth is one powerfull motor and if it were me i would have gotten a kenworth w900b than L its sounds like a streight pipe XD

  • @piffsterr2

I do not know the tonnage of that particular Scania, since no details are given about it - But I would guess the engine would develop around 250-300 HP, those are the most common for city driving, so a fitting load for that kind of power.

However, you can get cab-over scania's with up to 720 HP and 3500 nm (2600 ft-lbs) of torque. And that's a large amount of power in a production truck no matter where you go.

If you want to go higher, you need to tune it yourself.

  • @Jesus45U aint a scania m8,its a ford iveco.as for the power, if it was a scanny, pretty sure that type start off at 320 bhp.

  • @rossiwilton

Ah, yeah ... I got so wrapped up in talking about powerful trucks that I forgot to look if it really was a scania.

    My bad, sorry about that.

  • @Jesus45U ARIGHT you got me there the highest iv seen a cat motor stock is 550hp and DUDE ARE THOSE STREIGHT PIPES ON THE KENWORTH XD

  • @piffsterr2

    Straight pipes ?

Naw, they're probably gay, hiding in the closet. XD

  • @Jesus45U lmfao probably where do you live engalnd???

  • @piffsterr2

    I don't .. I live in Denmark. :)

  • @Jesus45U DAMN i was wrong

  • @Jesus45U and streight pipes means no muffeler

  • @piffsterr2

Aw, aint such a big difference on Denmark and the UK when it comes to trucks, ao you weren't *that* wrong. :)

And I knew about straight pipes = no muffler, but it was more fun to do a bit of wordplay on it.

  • @Jesus45U ya it made me chuckle and i guess so

  • @piffsterr2

On a sidenote to the exhaustnote, even cab overs can have straight pipes.

Also, I was wrong about the Scania R730 being the strongest euro truck, turns out that the Volvo FH16 was tweaked recently and can now be had with 750 hp and 3550 Nm of torque, whereas the original FH16 "only" had 700 HP and 3150 nm of torque to play with.

And they get all of that power out of a 16 litre diesel engine.

    Crazy stuff.

  • yh, DAF rules :)

  • That's a 22 wheeler.

  • @taitai907 my father drive a 30 wheeler XD a 1994 kenworth w900b with a tanker top

  • thata fuckin optimus prime right there

  • oh yeah KENWORTH RULES!!

  • One bad ass Ken good job PACCAR.

  • eargasm

  • KW and Petes owned by DAF

  • @truckway1 No Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF are owned by PACCAR learn your facts man

  • @Trailerrigger PACCAR sucks ass! they are ruining the business. the MX piece of shit is joke.

  • @tkuhns500 I love paccar and the w900l and the 379 were and are the best trucks ive ever driven BTW you dont have to get the paccar MX JACKASS the company owned freightliners and all volvos suck PACCAR and MACK are the only reliable trucks now SO FUCK YOU

  • @Trailerrigger You are such a dumb ass, its fuckers like you that give the real truck drivers a bad rep. Paccar is paccar, it is not kenworth, Peterbuilt and Kenworth are there own companies. Paccar is a joke of a manufacturer that is a dealer with them. Like Cummins and Cat. So lets see, oh yeah FUCK YOU BITCH.

  • @tkuhns500 boy Ive been driving for 21 years it is asses like you giving us a bad name Ive done my job Ive delt with customers with a smile on my face and as much help as I could give Ive never had an accident ive never had a unhappy client I did my job right I did my job like real truckers have been doin for a long long time. and No it isnt Paccar is the owner of both of them and alot more companies they are not a dealer so once again Fuck you boy and get off the road let the real men through!

  • @tkuhns500 Oh By the way boy If you knew your facts instead of speaking out yo ass you would no that peterbilt and kenworth were SOLD to PACCAR

  • @tkuhns500 Haha I should have noticed this earlier If your going to talk shit boy atleast spell PETERBILT Right it is not Peterbuilt it is peterbilt

  • @tkuhns500 You know, simply using Google would have probably saved you from making a dumb comment like that. Paccar owns both Peterbilt and Kenworth.

  • @DirkDiggler1711 you are just a big of a dumb ass as the other guy. i dont need google, of all the people talking about this i'm awfully sure i would know a bit more.

  • @Trailerrigger Kenworth dumass !

  • @RiverGhost007 WTF are you talking about 1 ive spelled Kenworth right each time and ive been standing up for paccar which owns Kenworth peterbilt DAF and a whole lot more so tell me wtf that was about and then I will try to reason with u because your making no sence right now

  • samsing wrong wiz ze pipe. ze wire got big fish. what ze nice big tow truck wizuot chains.

  • Kenworth pulling a Chinese piece of shit up the hill. Nothing like a cat

  • Optimus Prime saves the day :P

  • that is how a semi is supposed to sound

  • this is proof that sainsbury's are the best!

  • I WAS THE FIRST OWNER OF THIS TRUCK...i sold it to a german guy ..if u know this truck,is a 1999 kw,with CATERPILLAR ENGINE,and a 18 speed gearbox(EATON FULLER)...with posy diffential and TWIN TURBO,,I CAN GIVE U THE WHOLE VIN#

  • @rraeside94 lol...u say toyotas driven by british(shyt) crew....i say japanese driving land rovers(worst car in the world)...for me...the russian driver with russian trucks living in siberia...4 miles away from the north pole THESE ARE THE BEST DRIVER...and i'm not russian ,i;m american

  • One thing American Truck manufacturers do best, Maximize Power!

  • @lpfgreg

AFAIK the most powerful production truck is a Scania ?

Anyways, in this situation, power isn't the issue, traction is.

It's all about the tires here.

  • iveco stralis + snow = epic fail ^^

  • @Addafo Let me correct that :)

Iveco stralis + any kind of not straight asphalt road = epic fail :)

  • like a baaws

  • Peterbilt baby!!!!

  • @catfishakaAMC It's a KW.......

  • @odenthegodofwar oh....just noticed that. Thanks for letting me know. That was embarassing lol. I was looking at the headlights and not the emblem. The headlights looked like Pete lights....

  • pish poor auto gearboxes can,t beat crash gearbox

  • The noise of that engine!!! Rawrrr !

  • AMERICAN builted bitches

  • When the foreign trucks can't cut it, ya call on an American Truck to get the job done.

  • @foltzenlogel This was in the UK therefore the American Truck is foreign... Also i'm pretty sure trucks from other countries could have done it :L The only cars to get to the north pole were toyotas driven by a British crew...

  • 12 wheels

  • Now that's a truck uphill full trottle without any problems Kenworth Rules!

  • WIN! KW BITCHES!

  • 0:00 to 0:23 the sound of Torque and Turbos'

  • listen to that turbo just bark!

  • UP HILL NO CHAINS! BEAST.

  • NO HE DON'T HAVE THE JAKES ON...TRUST ME,YOU WOULD KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.

  • so much win lol

  • Nice to see some American trucks in that part of the world

  • In UK, they say "Temperature has raised below zero degree... chaos..." at -1 degree and 2cm of snow :D

I was stuck there and almost not able to get to the Airplane by taxi.

  • It's called a Kenworth. Not a truck.

  • @methegamerz But it was truckin'! :)

  • am i the only one dat got a bonner ?????

  • Turbo sound

  • what the.... was he running uphill, on tow, with his jake brake on??

    lulz :)

  • @frackcha nope you would know if the jake brake is on

  • EAST SUSSEX!

  • The sound of a "Jimmy".

  • @HOWNDOG66 too bad it says cat power on the hood at :11

  • AWESOME sound.

  • Shoulda bought a KW in the first place.

  • the American Kenworth pulling a Euro truck

  • only 12 wheeler...

  • I just saw the thumbnail and I shouted OPTIMUS!!!

  • Only a 14 Wheeler lol

  • like a boss

  • FAIL to sainsburys!!! :D

  • trailer had to be empty as well most wrckers wont haul if loaded all the way

  • Called a wrecker.

  • wow. just wow.

  • Where state this?

  • @ddddzee It's in the UK somewhere I assume because the door of the wrecker said "Flimwell E. Sussex England"

  • Almost like Coca Cola truck.

  • count the wheels again!

  • That Turbo Diesel whistle gives me a boner

  • that it a towtruck, specialy equped and heavy with full lock rear difs.

  • The "18 wheeler" has only 14 wheels! 8 on the tractor and 6 on the trailer.. Only one axle (drive axle) with 4 wheels.. Just so you know! ;o)

  • i thought the british wouldnt use american equipment???? i wonder why they have that kenworth w900 wrecker?

  • American horsepower

  • AMERICA TO RESCUE!

  • Seems to me like a primitive moped tows another moped.

  • there is a real truck pulling a piece of shit uphill. Thank god I drive a KWhopper also.

  • Love how the disel engine screams! <3

  • Sweet sound of turbo :)

  • That rig is run by Mick Gould, he has a bigger one now as well as that red one.... huge units, always recovering fully loaded artics and buses in all weathers. He has a yard on the A21...

  • American trucks rescuing European trucks, lol

  • idiot...with the cable or is that a tow strap??????

  • WTF? the UK has american trucks?

  • It's a twin steer Sainsbury's unit pulling a tri-axle box thats empty, hence no weight on the 1 drive axle. The 6x4 wrecker has at least 8 tons over it's 2 drive axles plus a cable pulling it down hard with the weight of the Sainsbury's truck.

I got stuck on the A420 in my true 22 wheel low loader 10 years ago. Had a 36 ton quarry dump truck on. Had a lad in a Suzuki Jimmy following, when I got stuck I put a chain on him. Didn't sound as good, but you should have seen his face after. LOL. Sweet

  • thts me farting lol

  • what was a sainsburys lorry doing on a little road like that anyhow

  • Try something different today!

  • @daniro72 20 wheels. 8 on power unit. 12 on trailer. how could you have possibly gotten 16

  • @walterj89 you are right...it's not 16,,,it's only 14 wheels!tractor steering axle 2 wheels,1st rear axle ONLY 2,rear axle 4 wheels,so ...tractor=8 wheels!and trailer...its easy...only 6!I no cus I drove those for years ,,,in 10 countries ...and even in Siberia!

  • @daniro72 Oh I didn't even notice those a singles on the trailer... not all that common in North America.

  • thats why you need a american built truck....

  • 22 wheeler actually... notice the tridem axle on the trailer

  • @walterj89 tractor+trailer=16 wheels ONLY!tractor it's a IVECO Eurostar

  • @daniro72 It's an Iveco STRALLIS. Not a Eurostar.

  • Comment removed

  • The lack of winter tyres on the second truck was a big factor in this video...

  • it´s good

  • They'd do all that just to rescue a truck full of Jello?

  • That is one nice sounding CAT Engine in that W-900 Wrecker....

  • That truck is a Miller Vulcan Wrecker body.. they are VERY big in the states. As for towing they are one of the best. For recovery, Hands down NRC Industries in Canada makes the best Wrecker! More Versatile as well as stronger.

  • see euope when your plastic trucks get stuck you need a good ol kwhoppa!

  • Up yours, eurotruck! If you want the job done right, go American!!

  • this truck sucks COX N DIX get a KRAZ OR URAL thats the real deal !

  • @TheRojman A Kraz or a Ural will use many times as much fuel. Often also gasoline. Access to parts are extremely limited compared to industry standard things like Cat engines. You can't just drop a 255b on the first and best truck service station, you either have to do it yourself or have hobbyists do it. The 255 is too wide to be road legal anyway. There's a road assistance company in my country that uses a Tatra T813 KOLOS for big rig recovery, impressive and reliable but very expensive to run

  • gettin pulled around by a big bad KW!

  • they need american power tow trucks in Europe cos their trucks suck cock

  • Listen to that turbo!

  • Nice truck, Stupid way of towing. Why take out a winch line? hes got the under-reach already down, just lift the front axle off the ground, maybe throw a chain around and go. That way when you get to the top of the hill and the retard doesnt know to stop, he doesnt rear end you cause he'll stop when you do. I drive a Heavy tow truck.. Words to live by "CYA".. for those of you who dont know what that means. Cover your A....

  • @LovingMyRam he my have pulled it out of the ditch and decided not to waste time and chnge the lines

  • @TheFMPStudios Thats always possible.. I personally get paid hourly for winches/recovery. I'd take the time and put my cables away.. But your right, who knows how he works. I guess a successful pull is a successful put.. But you SHOULD try and eliminate any possibilities of someone rear ending out. With my company I pay for my damages.. So you have to MAKE SURE of EVERYTHING you do.

  • thats not a real big rig that truck is used for towing 18 wheelers period

  • Mother fuck yea

  • @22timingram are u talking that u have heard the jake before or in this video, cuz i didnt hear it in the vid, jus wondering

  • amazing what a little snow can do.
