  • i can only say wow

  • 6 idiot's don't like .

  • The best ever

do you suggest something to begin fingerstyle?

    thanks

    marco

  • @gedewurd Thanks! "Here Comes the Sun" is a great one to start with if you have never tried fingerstyle - good luck!

    JAW

  • @gedewurd I supposed we need 50 more years to reach this.I propably dont have them. :)

  • Your so awesome man ! U made me start guitar lessons (im at my 3rd lesson....) i spend all my spare time practicing while watching at ur videos and this one is definitely my favorite !!! ill keep working my ass off and when i can get close from ur skill level (in a million years or so) id be really amazingly pleased and happy to have ur opinion bout it :P Ur my idol ! keep goin with these awesome videos !!

  • @oONarF Ha, thanks oO! Glad I could help out - stick with it, it's a hard slog but worth the effort. I've still got a way to go myself - but after 32 years I still love to play. Not many things in life that you still love to do after 32 years! ;)

    JAW

  • Excellent contribution to guitar music, Jaw...thank you!

  • @A48289 Thanks A!

    JAW

  • Man you rock.

  • that's one of my fave song,oh man your so great, can you give me the chords of this song?thanks!!

  • Can't believe it, you almost reply for all comments lately. It sounds sweet, and I love the way you slap the guitar. Then, finally done, I got this version on my laptop, and on my favorite playlist on Youtube :)

  • @hattrick3011 Generally, I whisper a little "thank you" to myself when someone compliments my playing, but I don't respond. When someone bad mouths I ignore it but don't delete it; other commenters usually dispatch the appropriate remarks for me!

When I see someone has taken the time to type in a lengthy reply, or asked a question that I haven't already answered in my FAQs, I do generally reply. I don't get that many comments that I can't take a minute or so to reply - like now :)

    JAW

  • Thanks for the tabs for this song and all the others :D

By the way, do you now a good song ( love song ^^) to play, if the lyrics are also great then it would be even better !=)

PS:sorry if I make fault's, I'm from belgium and my english is not perfect ^^

  • @Rhyderch Hmm, I don't really do any love songs. Maybe that's why my missus is not really all that keen on the guitar ;)

Singing? Nah, this is all fingerstyle!

Glad you enjoyed the tabs, and thanks for stopping by.

    JAW

  • very nice embellishments you used. like the way you played it

  • btw, ur the only guitarist besides myself i've seen to sit like that when we play. Sexy crossed legs ftw man!

  • very vverryy nice mate

  • This is a very well performed song. I especially like your finger picking style of this song and the fact you were kind enough to put in the tabs (so some of us more novice players can do our best at hacking this song up). I'll be enjoying some of your other covers. Thanks for the very good rendition!

  • This was based on Naudo's work; I've been adapting to his style for a few years now. He is The Master and I am the hack :) It's good to provide tabs, how many times have you seen someone play something and though "man I wish there were tabs to that." The expert guitar player doesn't need tabs - they'll get it by ear - and the intermediate hack such as myself will struggle for days transcribing it; so why not share that work with others!

    Thanks for stopping by,

    JAW

  • wow

    awesome sir!

    your so great!

  • Wow. amazing

  • Beautiful

  • Perfect!

  • a wonderful song.

    played so beautiful.

    thank you the tab.

hope too see some new stuff from you.

    greetings

    frank

  • famous.

    thank you for the tab.

    amazing.

  • brilliant

  • dude your so great!! i beleive in you!! nice !! do you know where to find tabs on this?? ty man!!

  • I love all your arrangements, man. Thanks for the tabs also. I hear you about Naudio. Wow. LOL. But you do them justice as well. I am a bass player at heart trying to get my fingers to at least simulate what you do, LOL. And I am a Lennon FREAK. So if I compliment a Lennon cover, it is my highest praise. Bravo. Keep playing. And I hope your daughter appreciates Canon in D. at her wedding.

  • Thanks for staying with me and following what I'm up to! Lennon made some of the best music ever, there is no doubt. One of these days I'll sort out some more from him, at the moment, concentrating on family and work commitments...ah, such is the life of an amateur guitarist ;)

Daughters wedding is a ***long*** way off, she is only 5 at the moment :)

    In closing: Naudo is Best!

    JAW

  • im exited to say ive learned your version of this song through the pdf! thank you. but im seeing now youve left a few small things out by your video haha. and my tempos off. i guess more practice!

    -JARED

  • Excellent! Yeah, my tab is usual "ideal" and what I play is not normally quite the same. No probs though, everyone who tries these things should make the song their own ;)

Post up a response! It's good for you!

    JAW

  • nice work. love it

  • Excellent.

  • great job !!!!!!!!!

  • Sounds great!! Just wanted to say thanks for posting tab for so many songs like this one. Your effort really helps novices like me. Because you leave tab your the only one I can follow. Bravo, well done.

  • so, what happened to naudo...hes suspended for what....

  • Love the cut on the flamenco guitar... My 2 big inspirations are Zakk Wylde and Tonino Baliardo... Nice playing the most important is how much hart you put inot it! keep at it my man! What brand and how much??

    Cheers!

  • Guitar - Yamaha, $AUD1000 - so not quite a cheapy, but definately not an expensive one. Sounds great plugged in, sounds okay unplugged, plays okay - but anyone after a while would get used to anything eh? I've never found a car that I *couldn't* drive ;)

  • one of my favorite songs :)

    and you play it beautifuly

though everything you play is amazing

  • Yeah I agree. I might post something soon but i can't be sure. I know things like that aren't buyable, though, unless you're naudo himself. Btw, What happened to Naudo?

  • how would i go about learning this ? i'm having trouble with finger postions left hand ;-( I'm crap man!

  • YOU'RE ARE GREAT! PLease help me with Naudo's stand by me!! Please please!

  • stand by me is actually a really easy song to play

  • I wouldn't say Naudos version is a really easy song to play, but I have looked at it once, and it is not impossible, just not easy. One day badboyUK!

  • yeah. I guess I worded that wrong. his version Is fairly siimple, though, especially when you take into consideration his version of Hotel California.

  • Awesome.

  • wao excelente felicitaciones por esa gran cancion

  • Thanks for the info . You`re really good. We love to listen to your songs.

  • You sound great, what kind of guitar are you playin? Is it the same as Naudo? I want one like his or yours, both sound great as well as the artists.

  • Naudo uses an Alhambra, this is a Yamaha. Both are "flamenco" styled guitars.

    Thanks!

    JAW

  • sounds excellent =)

  • you and Naudo are the best , i will be very happy if i see you and Naudo playing together, i love you guys!!

  • PS I think getting the nylon string was a great move...you have improved lots and will carry on to do so.

do you ever play your steel acoustic now?

  • From the moment I thought about getting a new nylon, picked up my old $100 1980's classical banger, I put the steel in its case and haven't opened it since.

I'm sure I'll play it again one day, but you just can't get the expression out of steel like you can in nylon. Not to mention I sound shrill and annoying on steel because I play with my wrist at a bad angle ending up too far below the hole and I can only play comfortably off nails and...and...and...

    You get the drift.

    JAW

  • nicely done. it is a bit stiff in places and im sure you know that. i guess when the camera's off its much better. that happens to me. i can be playing great, turn on the camera and it all starts to go wrong. I'm not saying that this video has gone all wrong....this is still very good...its not an easy piece to play...i play it much different to that...a much easier version.

    anyhow...nicely done again. whats next?

  • Since putting this video out I can it much better - as you expect ;) It's a great piece to play, I really enjoy it. Top man Naudo. Did you notice he commented (below) - with his last name too! :)

    JAW

  • Very Nice amigo, I can see the work in the bass line. Naudo Rodrigues.

  • Very nice.

  • wow realy nice MR!

  • great job from Viewer: 1,525

  • Once again, great job jaw! Keep up the good work mate.

  • awesome 5/5*****

  • I wish I could play as well as you......I guess I'm just a Jealous Guy

  • haha boo

  • I've been developing some different right hand techniques modelled of Naudos playing.

Unfortunately, in the early days when I was taught classical, I had the correct right hand position for left leg + high angle neck, but when I got slack and went right leg low angle my hand position stayed the same and I angle my wrist badly to compensate...doesn't hurt though...yet...

However, playing like this is all about steady positioning on the right hand. Classical teaches that.

    JAW

  • WOW!!Really cool!!!:)

  • Great playing !

I also like your other vids very much !

    best regards,

    wolfgang

    5*s

  • John Lennon Rocks and so do you sir. Tops work. i should maybe look into the world of finger style as i cant sing :P good excuse

  • That's the excuse I give ;) Get into it!

    JAW

  • Really like it, Jaw. Great playing ..... All stars for you!

    Greetings Hansel

  • u r very good..............

  • Great version and playig! Love it ! 5 ***** Greetings Jeroen

  • Great work. It's seems you are picking these up more easily and the new guitar sounds great. I think nylon is your style. I look forward to some more. --John

  • Is this your first Lennon tune ?

  • You kind of look like John MacEnroe! Every once in a while you should throw in:

    "You can't be serious!!".

Great job on this song dude! Thanks for posting.

    :-)

  • what a evolution Jaw.....These inspiring me to put some tune of me in my channel

  • You should put up some videos Juan - you are the closest to Naudo out of any of us, what I would give to get a few tips from him!

Have you shown him any of the tabs I've made? Does he think they are accurate? I'm starting to feel bad that I'm putting them out when they are based on his work. He could make a lot of money from tabs and I'm giving them away for free.

Good to hear from you - and whatever you do - don't let negative comments get you down. Keep up the good work.

    JAW

  • This is why i subscribed to you! Great work man!! 5 stars all the way. =)

  • i like your videos, but i must say this particular sound like you were struggling with it. there's no flow, it's a bit mechanical, where Naudo's so spontaneous and true. all in all i still admire your work (tab stuff as well) and believe you both would sound good in duet :)

  • You are correct - I needed more time to settle into this one. I tend to put up a video when I'm at a stage "I can play it" rather than it being second nature.

I use youtube as goal - take a song from development through practise to get it done, dusted and out the door. I look at all these videos I've uploaded and I think they are all crap - I play them much better now ;)

I could never play with Naudo - he is a true musician, I'm just a programmable guitar playing machine :)

    JAW

  • Ha! I thought I was the only one who did this! All my songs sound like I'm just learning them!

  • It's the best way to learn hey - set yourself a goal :) I've got quite a lot of other songs that I have played for many many years but they aren't "impressive enough" to warrant posting.

However, since I'm not learning anything new at the moment, I might have to scrape into the bottom of the barrel for something to post next month :)

  • OH yeah, and thanks for the tabs, all of them.i wish i could donate but i'm to young to even apply for a credit card haha. soon enough i will, once again thanks

  • i was just messing around on youtube while i was at work today and i was hoping you were gonna make a new video soon, i came home and there it was:D this was fantastic, watching your older videos to this one i can see alot of improvement also. you kept that bassline very nice here. i wish i could play like that. any ways to finish off, i enjoy listening to your renditions just as naudo's. this one is deffinetly a favourite

  • Thanks! Yeah, compare this with my first videos I uploaded, eugh! I only leave them there to remind me where I was. I've still got a long way to go however, nothing I do flows or is as clean as Naudos. Set the bar high!

  • thank you for doing this, you are an inspiration.

  • Wow, it is really impressive to me! Thanks for all of your tabs!
