U r right. Simple theory of world. NO BUSINESS HAS EVER STARTED FOR PUBLIC INTEREST. ALL BUSINESSES ARE SELF CENTRIC. That is why we call it as BUSINESS.Take any business Bank,Investment any thing ..
in Term plan ur nominee will get money in case of your death in policy period. but you wont get money back at the end of policy period, if you are alive .
endowment plan if death occurs in policy period your nominee get the sum assured. if you are alive , you will get back your money paid plus some bonus 4% to 8% minus insurance charges.
I would not even buy life insurance except if I had my own family. But yes, in any kind of contract negotiations, the one offering the contract usually makes it in favor of their position.
Plz. do understand insurance is generally sold not purchased. It is also said insurance is a subject matter of solicitation. It is the mindset of insurance companies & their agents who wanna earn money in an immoral way by not informing the general folks about clear benefits of TERM.
first understand exactly how insurance company works and i agree this thing happen but this thing happen because every one need quick money in short period so this is not the mistake of insurance company this is mantle set of indian people who are buying and selling the insurance policy
Nine out of ten agents would never even mention TERM to the clients until the client is pre informed about TERM.I have a practical experience of this thing. I bet, if U educate the general folks about TERM, nine out a TEN would never go for any other policy. They should also be told about the other investment vehicles which offer better returns than insurances.
This thing, I guess is not happening in India only, this thing must be happening in many many other countries also. Only & Only insurance companies are responsible for it.
