  • At the end when Kenny said "iis also someting.....that nobody should forget!" you can hear his vioce breaking and his utter deep sadness of it all- i started crying JFT96 YNWA

  • @Premium101 please do us all a favour and die!

  • Sky and Sun were lies!

  • @Premium101 ..no, it just means that billy cant be bothered with smug-headed, cowardly scum like u.

    JFT96

    TRUTH AND JUSTICE NOW!

  • Fuck SKY - FUCK the scum - YNWA

  • Horrible..

    Justice for the 96

    You'll never walk alone

  • That is a History Channel documentary, Although I'm not sure who runs the History Channel.

  • ske news are biased

  • @Premium101 You are an idiot. A pig ignorant bigoted moron. I pity you. This conversation is over. I wish you a slow painful disfiguring cancerous death.

  • Comment removed

  • @Premium101 But the fact that the report did not prove anything means you can not use it to make your point. You are contradicting yourself.

"As regards my compensation comments, I am only echoing what most of the planet thinks anyway"

Have you ever suffered a bereavement? Has anyone you loved ever being taken from you before their time? I can only presume not as otherwise you wouldn't make such a vile remark. The rest of the world does not think that, now please grow up.

  • @Premium101 You say:

"The Iraq 'dossier' is conculsive proof that you can (make a report to prove or unprove any argument )!!!"

    But then you say:

"Blair wrote a report saying we had a case because Saddam may or may not have had a Scud missile"

So the report didn't prove anything?

I do believe you've contradicted yourself there.

As for fans wanting "compensation money to complement their dole cheques.", sorry to lower myself to your level but please fuck off you brainless idiot.

  • @Premium101 If you are caught in a crowd surge you have no physical control of your movements. You can't "find" anywhere less crowded in a place so packed the air is literally crushed from your lungs, and where the pressure destroys the bone structure of your thorax.

  • @Premium101 The whole inquiry was just to make the fans feel better? Then why have survivors spent the the last 20 odd years demanding a new inquiry you fucking idiot?

--- "You can make a report to prove or unprove any argument needed at that time." ---

    Erm, no you can't.

  • @Premium101 There had been crushes at Hillsborough before, infact the FA actually stopped using the stadium for several years after 38 people were hospitalized after the 1981 FA cup semi-final between Tottenham and Wolverhampton (in the very same pen infact). They only started using the stadium again after Sheffield Council assured them it was safe.

  • @Premium101 The fact is that the fans entering the ground had no way of knowing the pens they were heading for were already full. Once it would have been apparent to them it was to late for them to do anything about it, I mean have you ever been caught in any sort of crowd serge at a concert or sporting event? Also it was proven that the police failed to follow the agreed crowd procedures outside the ground which led to the crush outside the Leppings Lane end, which led the gate being opened...

  • @Premium101 ...and before you start ranting about me "bloody scousers who never learn" I am a Mancunian and support Manchester United.

    Justice for the 96.

  • @Premium101 ...infact Lord Justice Taylor actually praised the LFC fans for their efforts to help their fellow supporters, while critizising the Police, Fire & Ambulance services for their incompetence. He was also damning of Sheffield Council for issuing the stadium a safety certificated despite problems (including a crush that left 30+ people hospitalized) with overcrowding in the past. He also critizised the FA for holding the match at such an outdated venue.

  • @Premium101 Wrong. The fans were simply following the quickest route to the stands (as you or I would have done). No one told them where to go. In the inquiry that followed it was found that had the police actually bothered to guide the crowd into the side pens then the disaster would not have happened, and the fans, unlike the police, ambulance, fire service, Sheffield Council and the FA, were completely exonerated from blame...

  • Shit happens

  • standing is deadly! When i went to watch Colchester United vs Ipswich Town and Colchesters old staduim it was so cover crowded. You could barly move, and then when Colchester scored everyone at the back started pushing forwards and i had to jump over the barrier to stop being crushed! Was so scary!

  • Sky are simply the television wing of The Sun, you have a BLOODY CHEEK to even mention hillsborough to say the least

  • Joesakic91 - You can't support 2 teams mate, its not how football works. You are no Manchester United fan, if you want to find a real supporter of Man Utd look on my channel.

  • Standing areas are deadly. Thankfully they are mostly gone forever.

  • Sad that people had to die before they modernized the stadiums. By 1989 they should have known better.

  • This is the same media corporation that owns The Sun.

  • @twiggo66 You inarticulate, unintelligent idiot. NFFC JFT96

  • Do you all realize that Sky News is owned by Rupert Fucking Murdoch, the same guy who owns the Sun? Rupert "The Truth" Murdoch!

    .

He wants his Merseyside audience back!

    .

If you boycott the Sun, boycott Sky News! Keep their view counts down here by discussing elsewhere. You'll probably find more coherent conversation partners elsewhere too.

    .

(I wish I'd noticed before I gave them one more view!)

  • @ at all the pricks who say bad things about the poor people who died, lets crush you so your bones crush against a fence until you can not breathe and see if you say the same

  • @twiggo66 You can't argue with a moron, shouldn't be you be shouting abuse at foreigners about now you BNP piece of shit show some respect or fuck off

  • @twiggo66 Fuck you cunt

  • With today being the Anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster, I expect there will be hundreds and hundreds of jokes crammed into this small area, ending with a large number of them being buried. A fitting tribute

  • I'm from liverpool and today is yet another year gone by but today we remember the 96 ppl killed at Hillsbough, Liverpool is a great city I am so proud to be from here we all unite as one today.

Thankyou to Man U fans :) xxx

  • On 19 April 1989, the Wednesday after the disaster, a European Cup semi final between AC Milan and Real Madrid was played. The referee blew his whistle 3:06 minutes into the game to stop play and hold a minute's silence for those who lost their lives tragically at Hillsborough. Half way through the minute's silence, the A.C. Milan fans sang Liverpool's 'You'll Never Walk Alone' as a sign of respect

  • YOU IDIOT!!!!!!!!

  • Wow, Jeff out of Peep Show was there! Scary shit.

  • It was and still continues to be an establishment cover-up. 96 dads, mums, brothers, sons, daughters, husbands and wifes never to be seen again because of police incompetence. All for a game of football. Justice will be done even if it takes another 21 years.

  • sorry, even though I was 13 at the time, I didn't remember this until I saw yesterday. I live in Sweden though. Terrible for you brits. I watched Heysel live at 9 years of age though. People shouldn't die over football, but they do, even in my country.

  • justice for heysel first!!!

  • justice for what?

    Fuck off heartless cunt

  • @dingbatcharlie1 Prat!

  • @dingbatcharlie1

    there WAS justice for Heysel

    the perpetrators went to prison

  • people went to jail for heysel you muppet why people insist on posting this stuff and what man utd fans post about the deaths of men woman and children I dont know

I prey to god you never have this or something like it happen to you

  • Comment removed

  • i know many mancs will want 2 rip this clip on youtube and with all respect many liverpool fans will rip ther munich clips but being realistic this tragedy cud have happend 2 any football club at the time becoz all fans wer always penned in 2 stands without any regard but on this one particular occasion it turned deadly due 2 poor policing and it just happend 2 be liverpool who suffered but south yorkshire police need 2 bare the blame and the fact the fans have had no justice is a scandel!

  • Well "Twiggo66" I see your rather sick utterings have spread to this Hillsborough video as well. Well I suppose it was only a matter of time wasn't it?

You need to grow up and get a life and maybe grow a few more brain cells into the bargain. How would you feel if you'd lost family/friends in a disaster such as Hillsborough and people made fun of it? I bet you'd not be too happy. I notice also you appear to have disabled comment posting on your channel - guilty conscience perhaps?

  • I know people who where there that day.. and lives that have been changed forever.... forget scum like twiggo66 the one brain cell they have lives to wind others up... Still waiting for Justice Gordan???

    YNWA

  • twiggo66 you ignorant fucking prick. No matter what team you support you immature arsehole, 96 people still died.

Grow some pubes you childish bastard. Majority of us Liverpool fans remember the 21 of your munich crash.

Justice for the 96. Gordan Brown needs to do something good in his political career. START HERE GORDAN!!

  • @kopite9217 Just checked his profile, he likes the BNP so it's hardly a surprise, ignore him mate, though whoever posted this should really screen the comments!!!

  • the liverpool fans did nothing wrong, from a yorkshireman. they did not open the gate...

  • you are better educated reading nothing than reading newspapers

  • troll

  • The guy at 0:48 Seconds is my Grandad.

He 75 this year. and still has that tash

  • 96 gone but never forgotten YNWA <3

  • ok i never new about the Ibrox one but i did know about the Bradford city fire but why did the goverment take so long for it to relise that they needed to change it

  • I have no idea. They thought that the anti-hooligan fence was enough to keep hooligans from the pitch, but it backfired in the Hillsborough disaster.

  • they thought that the seat belts was enough to keep them safe on the plane, but it didnt in the munich air crash.

  • And I thought security at Istanbul was safe to prevent two Leeds fans from being stabbed to death, but it wasn't to be.

  • why did it have to take something like this for the goverment to realise that standing in a stadium is not right, y did they wait for something like to to happen before they did anything to the stadiums, all it was ment to be was a football game nothing else but a football game, y did it have to happen y

  • It's not just the Hillsborough disaster that caused football from going to standing terraces to all-seaters.

You also had the Ibrox disaster in 1971, the Bradford City fire, and the Heysel Tragedy in 1985.

  • the disaster was the turning point of football, after the disaster the goverment made all football stadium to be all seated, but i want to know why did it have to take something like to to make the goverment see that all seating was wrong, it should never of happend, but why did it

  • RIP to the 96 from a Manchester United fan.

  • respect joe!

  • Even though I'm a MUFC fan and LFC fan and we can trash talk about records, results and such, but both MUFC and LFC went through tragedies like the Munich Air Disaster and Hillsborough.

RIP to Jon-Paul Gilhooley, Steven Gerrard's cousin, who was one of the 96 killed at Hillsborough.

  • edit:

and MUFC fans and LFC can trash talk about records, results, and such.

  • only cunts support 2 teams at once........YOU CUNT.

  • Oh what's the matter bitter Leeds fan 1tyresius? Calling me a cunt and shit? LOL.

What's wrong with a Man Utd fan paying my last respects to the 96 who perished at Hillsborough?

Oh BTW, keep making fun of Munich and Leeds United will be stuck in League One. Don't push your luck on the football gods.

  • @joesakic91 - respect mate, there should be more fans like you, both from liverpool and united!

  • @Seebbew

That's the problem with some both LFC and MUFC supporters that diss tragedies both Munich and Hillsborough: no respect.

We talk about winning trophies and debating seasons and such, but when it comes to tragedies, don't go there.

  • Respect from a fellow Man Utd fan

  • Belive it or not mate liverpool fans were heros that day, as the emergency services never done much. Look into it an youll find out "the truth" instead of what was printed at the time by scum like mackenzie to cover it up. The Lord Taylor Report says it all.

  • bollox..."heysel and athens" have nothing to do with hillsborough. just more lame slags.

how do u explain the two previous crushing incidents at hillsborough? how do u explain man utd fans almost recreating hillsborough at lens 2 years ago?

"the scrum at the turnstiles" was caused by delays on the M62, inadequate traffic control at the lepping lane end and trying to squeeze 10,000 fans through 3 turnstiles.

the SY police were paid good money to provide crowd control.

    JFT 96 NOW!

  • dear nathclare u must have no idea what happened the got made to go through those gates by police as there inspector told them to do so they are not stupid they were law abiding so grow up my mum auntie and grandad were there and my mum and auntie came home alone that night so pay some sodding respect

  • let me have respect by saying i have sympathy for your family. But im entiltiled to my opinion. If you look at the video a kid is lifted from the turnstiles by a police officer. That is before the police opened the gates. That shows liverpool fans charged the gates and tryed to force there way in. I believe the police could have organised better but its 50 50 to me. i wish justice would be done let people remeber the 96 with respect. sorry, my opinion. (not a united fan)

  • Ticketless fans were not the problem. Sections 200-202 of the Taylor inquiry deal with this and the estimates of the HSE, through combined turnstile analysis and reviewing video footage of the opening of turnstiles and Gate C make it clear that there was no significant issue in terms of the numbers of ticketless fans.

overcrowding at the Leppings Lane End as a whole was not the problem - that is A deliberately fostered myth that seeks to shift blame onto the phantom hordes of the ticketless.

  • The direct cause of the disaster was overcrowding in the two central pens.

If supporters entering the ground had been guided into the empty side pens, the disaster wouldn't have happened. Watch the original footage and u will see people walking through the opened Gate C and into the tunnel - oblivious that at the other end the two pens were already overfull. They had no way of knowing that they were full. But the police did and they were paid to manage the situation accordingly.

  • Some fans were late due to an accident on the M62, but its not an offence to arrive late and should have been incorporated into contingency planning.

Some people had a drink - that's what happened (and still does) at football matches. its not a crime. Blood alcohol levels taken from the dead (including children) and the overwhelming testimony of witnesses confirm that this was a great big red herring dreamed up by the police responsible for the disaster on the spur of the moment.

  • watch the real video footage and you'll see the fans didn't "charge the gates" either before or after they were opened

    BUT:

    Failing to plan for safety (the operational briefing was absolutely clear about only one thing - fans must not under any circumstances be allowed onto the pitch and the stadium had no safety certificate);

    Failing even to attempt to manage the approaches to the Leppings Lane turnstiles;

    Failure to even monitor numbers entering into pens 3 and 4;

  • Failure to consider the inevitable movement of the crowd when Gate C was opened and to cordon off the central tunnel to direct fans to the empty outside pens;

    Failure to recognise the overcrowding that developed there and to open the fence gates (stand on the footpath by the pitch next to where the pens used to be and you will see that officers were two or three feet from people dying before their eyes);

  • etc., etc., etc.,

ARE, taken together, clear evidence of gross negligence, which was the criminal test to be applied to an organisation regarding manslaughter.

    TRUTH AND JUSTICE NOW!!

  • Please please put yourself in a football fans position 20 years ago i dont know how old you are but things were a lot different than today, you have your opinion regaurdless of who you support, but trust me the fans behaviour was not to blame please belive me.(hows this for simple maths open the gate shut the tunnel to the cenral pen everyone goes to the other pens either side no one dies obviously to become chief constable of south yorkshire police maths dont matter!) YNWA

  • o well

  • fucking justice

as for you cunts that want to take the piss then fucking die a slow death!!!!!!!!!!

    JUSTICE 4 THE 96

  • wot a brainwashed muppet.

the ticketless conspiracy was discredited 20 years ago, yet ur still spouting lies form the news of the Scum.

Sections 200-202 of the Taylor inquiry dealt with this and the estimates of the HSE, through combined turnstile analysis and reviewing video footage of the opening of turnstiles and Gate C, make it clear that there was no significant issue in terms of the numbers of ticketless fans.

    TRUTH AND JUSTICE NOW!

  • Comment removed

  • it is still depressingly clear that ppl like u still believe the lying press coverage of the time. They have no idea of the conclusions of the interim Taylor Report and no idea of what actually happened on that day.

    1. Duckenfield ordered the emergency gates to be opened due to the crush outside (caused by unannounced delays on the M62 and the fact that 10,000 Liverpool fans were being asked to get through 3 turnstiles before the kick off.)

  • Not only were innocent children killed, but the city of Liverpool was subjected to a campaign of vile lies in the media, many of which are still believed to this day.

What is also clear is that the police LIED as well. Worst of all, they weren't held accountable at the time.

so I'd like to ask you the basis for your comment "this would never of happened on such a scale with anyone other than liverpool"

No wonder people are still angry.

    TRUTH AND JUSTICE NOW!

  • i am a Man Utd fan and i really hope that one day justice will be found for the 96. P.S to every Liverpool supporters: You'll Never Walk Alone.

  • well put phily4life m8

R.I.P to the 96 gone but not forgotten by the LFC family

  • the year before at the same stadium apparently they used a filter system which obviously made all the difference they should have just done that instead of opening gates, 54,000 people is about a 45,000 capacity stadium i heard cannot be good, the tunnel is still exactly the same 20 years later apparently, pretty errie,

    sheffield united fan

  • Rest In Peace Those 96 Innocent Fans That Were Lost That Day!

  • The soppy wankers still haven't learned their lesson when they done it in Athens or Istanbul, one of the two...think Athens. When again they got in using free tickets.

Thanks to them English football suffered in the late 80's but everyone is supposed to be feel sorry for them.

I feel immensely sad for those that lost their lives, but Liverpool as a whole can go fuck itself.

  • u ass faggit go fuck your self gay boy little acid head

  • Truth hurt does it?

    "u ass" hahaha

  • Hillsborough there are a host of reasons why it happened. The Police opening the gate, some would say they had little choice such as the force from Liverpool supporters.

Giving Liverpool supporters the Leppings Lane end when they should have had the Kop.

Pissed up Liverpool supporters all turning up near enough the same time trying to force entry.

All must take responsibility but Liverpool instead want to blame everyone else, but themselves.

  • Blah blah blah.

    Liverpool the victims.

No surprise you've been involved in two of footballs biggest tragedies is it?

Look at all the pissed up scousers trying to squeeze in at Hillsborough just before kick off, FOR FREE.

    Done the same in Athens.

Those that died I feel for them and their families immensely, just a shame no one from Liverpool ever takes responsibility.
