  • I really like your version and I thank you for sharing this song. Like your other fans, I am trying to learn this song and would love to know what chords you're using. I would appreciate it. Thanks again.

  • @stevendolinsky thanks for watching. I got these chords from Dr uke's website (first link if you google "dr uke"). I would find you the link, but I am on my phone. Dr uke has tons of great stuff, check him out.

  • I love you these older tunes- I think they suit you really well. Please carry on!

  • nice and smooth. great job Ben!

  • You're one smoove bastahd. Really cool triplets, I gotta learn that. One of your best, bro.

  • One of your best!

  • Great, Ben. I'll take the 1930s on a ukulele any day.

  • You've got it.1930's ukulele jams just happen to be my area of intrest as of late.

  • It's Mr Smooth! Good one Ben!

  • Lock down your women, they're likely to riot once they hear im in town.

  • Lovely playing and singing. Your jazz uke sounds great too!

  • that's good strummin' ben!

  • been practicing triplets. thx.

  • Fantastic sound, great song choice too

  • Cole Porter said, "How strange the change from major to minor" and in that song the melody goes from major to minor as the words are being sung... so subtle.

Hoagy Carmichael wrote some great songs... Georgia on my mind is another great tune of his.

I love the craftsmanship of all those chord changes. You did a great job on that tune and the video effects gave it an old time look... all that was missing was the cracke and hiss from an old 78 rpm disc:-)

  • thanks for this comment. I had this edited where everything was black and white and there were red and blue lightning bolts all around me, but it made the picture fuzzy so I went old school. I've been trying to learn Georgia on my Mind for a while now. I'm stuck on the bridge. It confuses me for some reason. It's an odd channge for me.

  • Sweet one Ben! That jazzuke is perfect for this song.

  • Thanks, B. Once I get back from the UWC I think I'm going low g. I think there's alot of jazzy picking patterns that may work better.

  • Oh no don't mention the UWC - I might slit my wrists!

(and I'm not so sure about the low G either...)

  • Sweet...smooth strummin bro'!!

  • thanks. we need to get that meetup going now that its nice out.

  • Smooth mi amigo... just wonderful.

  • Awesome job, Ben! Love classic songs played on Uke. :-)
