@TheonetrueKhaos agreed, this is a bad playthrough especially when the player isnt even commited to the game to read simple instructions on the screen and spends an excessive amoutns of time trying to figure out what to do or realising to follow an arrow, game is a bit meh from what i see here also. Just over the top actions and movement mechanics, combat looks too easy for normal mode.
You have a bad habit of not keeping up with mission objectives. I've spotted it in a couple games. PROTIP: Follow directions to reduce frustration. Minimap and pause menu are your friends.(Though it is entertaining to hear you growl whenever you can't figure it out.)
It blatantly told you to destroy the APC by grabbing a weapon, locking on, and firing.
Only normal guns have auto aim, and it's only at the closest enemy, not directional based, pretty much the same with attacks, which is why lock-on is key.
Since this is a PC version, I'd recommend binding lock-on to the middle mouse button, that way you can lock-on, choose your target and attack/fire all with one hand.

"I was out of bullets"

Too bad, I'm pretty sure this is one of those rare games that actually uses the exact same config as a 360 verion if you plug in a wired controller.
