What i can say for a fact is when i retired out of the Armed Forces of the USA and saw what i saw, i have come to appreciate life a bit more. I don't suggest that everybody do this but it sure does help to clear one's vision a bit. There are people who still work in the FBI who have seen torture and refused to work with the CIA on this. If you think Muslim Fundamentalism is something new to America or the West you are wrong. We have delt with much worse than these guys in the past and were even greater threats to us. We had more of world opinion on our side as well as 'good will' which is hard to quantify but the results could be seen around the world. We won the COLD WAR, some criminals/thugs bombed us here in N.Y and we go off against a religion. Not smart, it has cost us greatly......namely our ECONOMY.

Lets see he got us out of the first recession, defeated the Taliban, killed Saddam. Was able to keep our economy running while still fighting the terrorist threat. Helped liberate Iraq, prevented any more attacks on American soil. I can name many more but I'm running out of space, so ya he did a lot of things. I don't really get this because this is supposed to be about people who don't matter. We torture guilty people who should have no rights at all except "right this way" Second there are two different types of torture, theres American where theres lack of sleep, water head dunking etc. The other is the enemies way where they run a car battery to your balls before beheading you. See the difference. If I was commiting some terrorist act then yes I think you should torture me cause thats why we do it

What i can say for a fact is when i retired out of the Armed Forces of the USA and saw what i saw, i have come to appreciate life a bit more. I don't suggest that everybody do this but it sure does help to clear one's vision a bit. There are people who still work in the FBI who have seen torture and refused to work with the CIA on this. There are CIA people who have seen what we were doing and chose to have no part.

This wasn't about oil. There are plenty of places to get oil. Alaska but your hippie liberal buddies won't let us drill there or any place offshore because of the animals. The other thing is we know where the terrorists came from and Saddam helped them, you can't invade any country you want and kill the dictators, I wish it would make the world better. But other countries were not a threat Saddam was, thats why he was running but we got him.
