I've been stumbled on by other people doing a shoot before. I was in the woods, and my models were climbing a tree wearing only their underwear, and then these dog walkers came past! Talk about awkward!
I love your editing process too. I take it you composite several photographs together? I would love to give it a go, however I wouldn't even know where to start when it comes to doing this! It'd be great if you would be able to do a video tutorial? or maybe even give me a few tips? Thanks!
i love these videos Brooke..it's so cool watching how you work and you're thought process behind your photos. and the end with the man was funny :) keep these coming!!
Brooke, I think it's awesome that you take such few photos and make your images as incredible and inspiring as they are. When I shoot I take oodles of images and often feel like they're not good enough. I also appreciate you showing "the encounter" with the man because - as short as the clip was - I sort of understand how to go about it!
@NikaWitkowski Aww thank you dear! I wanted to leave out a lot of that encounter with the man because I didn't want to reveal too much about him and we quickly got to introducing ourselves with names. However, I have about 5 minutes of footage from our talk, hehe! We found out we're both from Philadelphia! Small world :)
You need to do "behind the scenes" videos of your editing. :-)

I really can't say anything that hasn't been said before. Your stuff is great. Really.
Questions: what lens do you normally use for your work?
What are your techniques for lighting your pictures? Only natural light?
And how many layers do you usually use in your pictures?
Finally, whom (writers, cinematographers, artists, etc) would you describe as having been your biggest influences?
If you find time to respond, it would be much appreciated. My wife and I are awestruck by your work.

Brooke, this is so amazing to watch)))
I am also interested how you make your face on the photo so delicately blurred?

Inspirational, yes, but that barely scratches the surface.
What are your biggest influences? Or whom?
Please, don't stop what you are doing!
